Idk how you do it dude... no one to push you, no one to tell you you're not getting old and to just push through sets... I can't lift with just me in silence like you, then again, I have nowhere near your success... I just know that when I have prepped for powerlifting meets, and when I had to be "on" I needed an audience and I needed some angry music and someone else to help silence my bodies screams of telling me to stop. I respect and will never know how you manage to achieve your physique and quality of work you do without that. In "gym bro" words. Mad respect

Gonna follow this routine tomorrow 😊
@Jannajx59 ай бұрын
Individual routines themselves dont matter, what matters is collective and consistent long term accumulation of effective muscle stimulus which can be achieved through any kind of routine. One could build a chest bigger than 99% of people following Cbums chest routine only by doing pushups if they knew how to stimulate the pecs properly for growth and accumulate this stimulus consistently over the long term. Most normal gym bros train the same way, the same routines with the same intensity as Olympia competitors but how come they aren’t Olympia competitors themselves? Because the design of one individual workout/rotuine isn’t whats gonna get you the gains its only a small part of the big puzzle so don’t be impressed by it.

The "we're all gettin' old" comment hit me hard! I'm 37 now, and I was bench pressing earlier this week. I have the same habit of jerking the weight right at the end of the eccentric portion of the lift and slightly tearing my pec. The last thing I need is an injury. It's good to know others notice these subtle nuances during lifts. I'll focus on controlled movement next time.
