Not sure if someone has already mentioned this...but the reason the blanket works is because higher frequencies can't pass as easily through stuff as lower frequencies can. A good example would be loud music coming from a building...you mainly only hear the bass/lower frequencies until someone opens a door/window. So yeah, any blanket should work. Unless it is a really old ass blanket.

I do this while I’m working. I’ve “watched” various shows by just listening to them. Once I know the main characters, I can just visualize what’s happening. People think it’s fucked up, I guess but maybe it’s because they can’t visualize what they’re hearing.

They’re absolutely not called bucket seats in the back of a coupe. Bucket seats are a more low profile seat that coupes offer in their FRONT seats. They have you sunken in the seat more and hug your hips and legs for when you bend corners like a G. Back seats in a coupe are definitely called bitch seats.
