@@darkspeed62 He is selfless. His main intention/motive is to help people and to help spread knowledge. If he was really about money all the time, he would pump out 10 min videos every day, except he'd rather make good quality content
@corruptingvirus33715 жыл бұрын
@@darkspeed62 how many ads did you get during the video? I got a single one at the very end of a 23 minute long video. He could've put in around 5 ads and made 5x the money on this video. How many videos does he post? Not many? Only very helpful in depth videos that are to the point but descriptive enough for anyone to use and fix problems on their cars? Think before you speak. Almost all the money it looks like hes made has gone to either his family or giving away. KZbinrs dont make nearly as much as you think and even so the money he has made he deserves. With how many videos hes made focusing on common car problems that could cost thousands to fix, hes simplified and explained how to DIY. Sorry but that's worth more than what hes made
@CryptoJunkie4 жыл бұрын
Corrupting Virus ---- this channel makes nearly $2,500-$3,000 per day on average.. lolllll. That's a million a year.. So yea, he makes a killing just off the ads he sets. In addition to that.. He has merchandise he sells and also gets money from affiliate sales through the product links. Just because he made a video buying his dad a car doesn't make him selfless. Don't forget he didn't just buy his dad a car on the down low.. He made a video of it to pay for the car tenfold. He did the same damn thing with this Christmas gift BS. I agree with you that he makes good content and doesn't fill the videos with ads.. and that's cool of him for sure. But I wouldn't say he's selfless.. Because that means far more than buying your dad a used car worth $25,000 and making helpful videos for profit. Buying your dad a car = generous act. Volunteering in an environmental conservation project in East Africa during the summer = selfless.

I had that happen with my scooter, a Honda Metro 50cc... lol I was fixing it up for my nephew and dropped a nut, a very important nut. I looked for over an hour, I dug around with a magnetic stick (which wasn't too bad since mine is the full aluminium unibody version) and lights... I literally almost cried from frustration. It was so small and tight and I had no idea what to do. I started removing body panels which isn't easy, and I went underneath to undo a nut... The nut was there. Right in front of me... Staring at me... "Oh. Hello there. What's up? Were you looking for me?" It was stuck to the big magnet I stuck to the bottom to aid with red lights! It was just sitting there the whole GD TIME ! ! ! lol I'll never forget the frustration and rage again. I too suffer from PTDFS. Post Traumatic Dropped Fastener Syndrome. You're not alone my friend. I hope the nightmares stop for you, and I hope you never wake in a cold sweat again screaming "I SHOULD'VE BOUGHT THE MAGNETIC DRIVER SET! WHY AM I SO CHEAP?!" It's okay. Some nuts and bolts may be lost for ever, some get found, and some get replaced... but you can still move on and have a good life. Just make sure you buy a magnetic tray, so you don't accidentally bump your red solo cup full of nuts and washers straight down the engine bay and immediately commit suicide. In the event of a massive fastener spill, call a hotline. Ask for help. It isn't the end. Good luck. ;]

@emsbikestories24915 жыл бұрын
Uhm yeah kinda... just very hard not to feel "sold to", like the promo channel, since if you click the amazon link and buy any of those items he gets commission. I have nothing against him making money off this, Chris is probably one of best car community youtubers there is, but the "being sold to" feeling doesn't go away. The fact he had Mequiars a "month before anybody else" means he probably got to test it as sponsored content or freebie for a review, neither of which he mentioned in the video. How many of other of those items he actually thinks are good and how many are sponsored?
@danishih5 жыл бұрын
For me, it's because he is so clearly shilling products. I can't trust a person who "personally endorses" a product when the company is clearly sponsoring a creator and the creator makes no reference to that fact. I don't blame CF for taking the money. I don't blame companies for paying CF to shill their products. But I also don't blame people for feeling skeptical of videos like this. Just like every youtuber who has "always" used skillshare, honey, nordvpn and spends most of their free time on vikings war of clans...

It turns a normal weak pressure hose into a pressure that can hurt your hands if you hold them close to the tip. It is good for getting tough spots off the car without scrubbing and has not damaged my paint at all no matter how close I put it to the paint. Of course you should hold it about 3 feet away from the car normally, but you should have no issue getting up close on tough spots now and then.

"Hey Guys! ChrisFix Kringle here!" I can vouch for the BlueDriver. I used to have a cheap bluetooth scanner that I used with Torque Lite, and it worked for the basic stuff. That is until my wife's SUV had an issue with her ABS, AWD, StabiliTrak, and Traction Control not working. I tried scanning with the scanner I had, but it could not scan the enhanced modules, so I wasn't able to get the code that was being thrown in the ABS. I purchased the BlueDriver after trying other apps, and it worked with no issues, AND it gives you information on the codes that it pulls, along with frequent fixes and other possible fixes. In our case, it was a failed right front wheel speed sensor. Purchased a new one, replaced it, and then cleared the code from the BlueDriver app, and no more issues 😁.

Pro tip when cutting your seatbelt: cut it at an angle, not straight. We learn this technique in firefighter training. You’ll notice it goes a lot easier. If you cut it straight the knife tends to get caught in the fibers.
