You talk about the oil that came with compressor but didnt you vacuum everything dry in the system? Also, you say if you have any freon in system take it to a shop. Confused about that. Once you vacuum a system and the old freon is in vacuum pump, what happens to old freon...do you transfer it to a canister?

Hi sir.. my car.. carb system..modified use 110 A alternator, not to much electrical as usual.. just big electrical as AC, couple a headlight 100 w, and simple sound sistem..the problem when 3 of that turn on together.. voltage drop until 13,1 v some time 12,8 and RPM drop too, for about 100 RPM down. can you explain what problem? what should i do? Thanks

A little tip if you run into problems disconnecting the wires from the headlight fog light switch. I had a heck of a time. So after you remove all the screws/bolts and you go to pull out the electrical plug, after releasing the lock, and it still won't unplug. This is the problem I ran into. Get underneath the electrical plug-in and take a small screwdriver and push up on those two little red pieces of the lock, that should encourage the electrical plugs to release. Thank you for your video, it really helped a lot. And Thank You to the must famous handy men in the universe, Jesus and Saint Joseph whom I always ask for assistance with any work that I'm not experienced with 🙏

Listening to what you've said. From the compressor to the Condenser, from the condenser through to the Evaporator and ends right back to the compressor. What about your drier? Dehydrator and some people call it?

My pops traveled a lot for work. His preferred method of transportation was the car, which is why he owned 10 of them. Always driving no matter the distance. During winter months he would always keep a sleeping bag & his ski gear in whichever car he chose to drive for that particular trip. Just in case the worst would happen. I do the same. Just a few tips of many this great man passed along. RIP Pops. You are greatly missed.

Finally got around to doing this on my gf's Hyundai Sonata with foggy yellow headlights. After following along, the last head light came out fantastic but I feel I may have used too much clear coat on the first head light since it still looks a bit foggy while the last is really clear. Should I wait for the 24 hour cure and do a light sand or sand it down and start over to get the same look?

Oh visiting this again, when changing a compressor with the oil you really should see how much actually comes out the old compressor. Its because well the oil will actually lower the cooling efficiency of the ac system overall. Like if you manage to get more than nothing out of it, like if you get 2 ounces put 2 ounces in it or if you get nothing probably put like an ounce and change in the new one. Do that or whatever the manufacturer says when you put a new compressor in. Also a new accumulator or reciver dryer should be put in.
