In today's video I'm going to be going over why Grimbells are a complete joke and need to be buffed/reworked
Hopefully one day Grimbells will stop being useless but until that day comes I'll keep clowning on them.

I feel like a good way to buff the Grimbell by giving them a small gravitational pull, kind of like blackholes, but weaker , another idea would be that once a grimbell detonates it "corrupts" the terrain in a way that it damages players by maybe 10-15 damage per tick

What about giving it the ability to corrupt the terrain in a 3×3 area, and if you step inside that area, you die instantly, so people stop calling these a joke

Or it'll decrease both speed and jump height of players in range similar of how there's a little line connecting grimbell with the player.

Grimble Gromble, the fact that this bomb used to have such a small radius too when it's released, I get that it's spooky ahh one shot it tolls nonetheless but like if I'm playing in hardcore I would rather have a barrage of grimbells than peepers, because they don't even break terrain, sbs is about predictability and highground, and grimbells don't even remove or non visually change the ground in any way, meaning you can just go out of the radius and then still have that perfectly sweet highground to laugh at people suffer below in the lava. The real grimbell is the new lava that all the time out of nowhere deals 30 damage and for aurora wing users constantly send them to hell and kill them because of freeze.

The threatening part of it( Like any bomb but worse) is when you get knocked into the middle of its radius about to explode and can't escape. The worst part is that its insta-kill in that situation, unlike other bombs.

The only real ways you can die to a grimbell are if you are immobilized (frozen/bubbled) or knocked into it when it’s about to go off, otherwise it’s really predictable and easy to dodge. I feel like maybe grimbells should spawn less often, but should be massively buffed and a lot more unpredictable so it really becomes an “oh shit” moment when one spawns

Can confirm that outside of 6.0 the only times I’ve died to it were either from the unluckiest detonation timing while I was getting thrown by knockback, or floating into the radius while in a bubble.

Polyhex definitely saw your video, lol. In 6.0 they have a very uhh… interesting radius. Not to mention the more people die the more they are gonna focus on you and your forced to parkour to the nearest obsidian island, or be forced to take a bunch of damage from lava.

6.0 is easier in the Halloween event (in a way). You can jump on candy so you can avoid lava damage, because there’s a lot of candy in the lava.

OLD NEWS NOW the new grimbells on 5.0 are awesome, they take up like 4x area and disarm is now an offense skill, also I'm not sure but I think the status effect when you are inside the range slows you down slightly

@@SillyTaxEvader Yeah they are easy to avoid but a bomb isn't just about dealing damage, when a grimbell spawns on you you will always be forced to move out of radius, because otherwise you can get frozen in it or flung out of control, the new grimbells absolutely hoard stuff like high ground and are a crucial part of gameplay now, like chasers which constantly force you to get up and move away from it to avoid 25 damage

I do agree with all of these except the reworked disarm system. the coolest function of the grimbell is how it negates all effects of the disarm and that really shouldn't be taken away from it. it could make the bomb fly faster, slow players down more, and literally delete the terrain around it

What i would do to buff the grim bell is by disabling players skills and perks when in it's radius and powerups get temporarily disabeled for every second u stay in it's radius (1 sec = 1 sec disabling skill) (the powerup only disables after leaving it's radius) but make it's range slightly smaller

Managed to die 51 times to that thing in comparison the glicthed nukes which also have a chance to explode with the grimbell effect.

bro the most FUNNY thing happend, so i was using magnet, (yes i know its bad, but its just funny to use), and a bubble event apeared. and then i remembered, when sombody is in a bubble, they are EFFECTED by the magnet. and all of a sudden, a holy thing happend... a grim bell. i threw my magnet, and by the corner of my eye a person goes zooming into the grimbell, unable to get out.

one thing to note is that in intensity 6 they really can be a problem. they take up about 1/4 of the map and by 2 minutes most land is gone and you dont have anywhere to run

I’ve died to grimbells 4 times too First time was when i was trying to disarm it 2nd was finding out there was a badge that included dying to it with the forcefield skill so i did it 3rd was when i was in hardcore mode and someone slapped me into it a second before it’s detonation 4th was me being an idiot and digging into it’s blast radius with the pickaxe skill

New bomb idea (linked to grimbell) Skellybell It makes a skeleton sound (whitch is for spawning zombombs or bombies) Bombie and zombomb damage-50 Range-5-20 Skellybell damage-25 If you touch the skellybell, you will deal 25 damage, when you get hit by the zombombs or bombies, they do 50 damage. Theres a version of it as a skill too! Also have you considered that grimbells aren't made to actively try to prevent the players from camping or staying in one spot like most other bombs because if the players don't move or get careless thinking this bomb is only a joke, they get a much harsher punishment than what the other bombs can do to you?

Its not a joke, its a feature to prevent trolls or people who abuse wings and other survival methods. Note: You cannot disarm grimbell as you will only increase size of bomb(do that to get badge), also you cannot be invincible with forcefield or magic shield either to it(also use it to get badge). P.S Grimbell is really easy to avoid, git gud.
