Absolutely love these videos, and Chris does a fantastic job consolidating the information and being entertaining! That said, it always make me laugh when he says "This is probably one of the best combos I've ever seen" because he says it in every video haha!

So last month I got my first ball python from a reptile show, and it was labelled as Desert Enchi. So I just took their word for it. I'd done a little research on balls, and it looked like it could be enchi, so that's what I figured he was. Then, last week, I posted a picture of him o . A reptile group on Facebook, and someone asked if he was Desert Ghost. I told him no, he was Desert enchi, and he said there was no way there was enchi in my snake. And after seeing this video I think he's right. I think he was mis-labelled, and is actually a desert ghost.

I picked up a Desert Ghost Spider today. He’s pastel; fluorescent yellow with green eyes. It’s nuts man. Got him for a seal on a trade for my pinstripe.

Ugh. I’ve been dealing with my turkeys today. Had about 9 hatch and I’ve been setting up enclosures for them. They are Royal Palms. You should do a video all about Chocolate Ball Pythons!

I have a question about humidity: I live in Florida where the humidity is usually pretty high already. I've been reduced to using paper towels in my ball pythons tub, with just a little substrate over the hot spot and the humidity is at 75% (luckily he's in shed right now.) I've got a fan going in the room also and I downsized his water bowl. Other a dehumidifier, what else can I do?

Raven Wolf I have the same issue in south east Texas. I am going to use dry repti chip with no moisture used to expand the block. Or make sure is has completely dried if i do use water. I use a smaller water bowl and am at the point where I might have to poke some holes in the tubs. Other than that not sure what more to do... Hope this helps some.
@ravenwolf85495 жыл бұрын
Thank you for that! I've actually been drying the substrate in the oven (425° for 15 minutes on a baking tray) and it's just as tedious as it sounds!

@ChrisHardwickanimaladventures4 жыл бұрын
I usually feed once a week, but during breeding season I'll increase with the females until they fast. And my big retic will eat maybe 10-15 big rats in a week, then I won't feed her for a month LOL

Had to pause just to say this.. Pleas don't use a wooden table as a background for that pastel DG ever again. Get a black cloth or like a bed sheet solid color. Anyways back to the show. Good stuff tho man i dig your content

Well. I am really close to you. 50 miles I would like one of Bobbies boys to get in the bamboo project but don’t want to go to repticon to get him. Could I come to you for a bamboo. I really like Bobby.
