I was wondering if Bobby stresses out by being handled so frequently but I haven’t noticed any change in his behavior. It’s like he knows it’s his time to dab for the camera lol

Watching from buffalo. Lockport’s 40 minutes north. You should check out the Buffalo reptile expo on September 22nd. Kickballs has a large display @ the show every year with around 15-20 other breeders.

I saw the ads for that show, I won't make it this year...

That's how all morphs are created. Breed 2 things together and boom out of thin air comes a new morph to prove out and work with
@ChrisHardwickanimaladventures4 жыл бұрын
Or you can find them in the wild, I think the first Coral Glow and Banana were found in the wild.

I did a random breeding between a pied female and a male banana het pied male and came out with a female normal het pied that looks exactly like a static/acid/confusion. She even has the crazy busy belly and wacked out pattern. Great bonus that she is 100% het pied as well. I've held her back to see if I can prove her out genetic. One of the things I love about breeding ball pythons is surprises like this.

Just found your channel and love it, I'm getting back into snakes after 20 years and have the fever again. I used to do only huge snakes, monitors, and venomous and swore I would never own colubrids or Ball pythons but now I'm really interested in the morph populations and variations of both.

This is the way IRES reptiles also discovered the Stranger gene and the Moray gene ( almost simular to the monsoon) . It was something that just popped up. Stranger from two normal looking clown females with a butter male, and the Moray from clowns with fire. Their website has the whole story. Love your morphs series!!!

Your a scientist! So Cool! I love your videos and All the information . I would like to get into ball pythons but the last one I had got a upper respiratory infection. I misted the coco bark too heavily. Do you ever get one that gets upper respiratory infection?

The brand new morph could just be a normal mutation that happens in all animals randomly. Like how some humans completely randomly might get a new mutation disease or one that changes cosmetic changes (like the super hairy human mutation thing)

Did your dinker prove? That’s a wacky pattern compared with the normals.

Can you please make a video on your mice u feed ? Having a hard time finding nice adult mice but I’m not to sure what a nice adult mice look like and my snakes won’t eat no rats just mice

I was lucky when I found my strain of white mice at a pet store in Boulder CO. Very highly productive and they are all white mice with red eyes. I'd shop around at local pet stores that sell feeder mice.
