I feel like "that trick" was just owning really expensive equipment and having years of experience under your belt. Great video but I would've liked a deeper dive into why this will help you so much/like how this IG algorithm works with this type of effort in content.

Jared Scott Productions I guess so, but I owned really expensive equipment and had years of experience before I made this switch and didn’t see any growth. You can make cool stuff with whatever you have, it’s just about playing to Instagram’s strengths and making things that hold people’s attention for longer, scratch their heads, or want to share!

Video is definitely a great way to entice your followers on IG. Because being an Influencer, for example, is so widespread, I feel like many people have really gotten a grip on how to take successful photos in their niche. Video, though, is not something everyone can do. I would have loved this video to show multiple ways on how to implement video strategies on IG. To me, this doesn't seem like a very well-rounded, informative video if your goal is to teach how to double your IG following. Maybe instead, a title that's more suited to this one technique would have been better and not as misleading.

What do you do about copyrighted music on Instagram though? Saw I wasn't advertising or monetizing anything, I just liked a popular song and wanted it in my video. Instagram muted my video but didn't send me any notification or message or anything asking if I had permission, just straight muted it. Any work around for this or do you simply HAVE to use non-copyrighted music? That's pretty restricting compared to KZbin
