I bought a bike this year after not having one for 20plus years. I too live in New England so right now the bike is hibernating for the winter. Even though I love winter I liked watching this video becasue right now I am missing riding.

I ride every Tuesday and Friday with a bunch of older guys like me. We live in the Sonoran desert and often ride one of the dozen well traveled regular rides each time. Nostalgia, but also what appears to be a vast empty wasteland to the uninitiated is actually a place teeming with otherworldly flora and fauna. We get the chance to see the old anew each time. Its always different.

I also ride a Bonneville. I took my V-Strom 1000 from NY ( Hudson Valley) to Acadia during the late summer 2020. During the lockdown. There were hardly any people there and although I missed the social aspect of the visit- I did not miss the traffic or the crowds. That trip is burned into my memory but I wonder if I go back in " normal " times what it would be like.
