Chris puts out some of the best info. I love the attention to detail that most people that have no idea how to train think is just too much....but question Chris at 10:55 min he is traveling his a$$ off and his foot work is different from the oppsite corner? Thoughs?

In that situation do they count it as 2 steps or is it moving your pivot without dribbling?

@@vendu I play 11yrs in Euro '93-'04 (Euro & Premeria League) and my first couple years I had a hard time with the euro step and timing on D-Fense. Now I watch college and the NBA and they are REALLLLY Traveling their A$$es off. Catching and setting both feet then hopping w/o putting the ball on the ground in a seperate motion. Sure the game has changed due to Euro style and no more true bigs and I love it...but when do they start tightening up the traveling?

@@dogger2186 He caught the ball, took two steps, and shot the ball. It is not a travel.

@@danielabraham3022 no way, it's travel. It's moving your pivot w/o dribbling. Thus the problem today. I played 11 professionally in Europe, retired 2004. That would have been travel 110% then, but today it's not. The NBA is becoming a circus with what they are letting players get away with...it a total joke

@@dogger2186 moving your pivot before dribbling is a travel yes. But only if you dribble. Think of it like cutting. If you have the wide open lane on a cut, you wouldn’t have to dribble and you can instead just receive the ball in motion, take two steps and then go up. That’s what d mitch does in this clip, he’s going towards the corner, receives the ball in motion and takes two steps for the three.
