Drink water, a pound of protein per body lb, medium-high carb intake as well, get healthy fats in... not in excess, work everything out 2x per week (push pull split works best), and whether you’re bulking cutting or maintaining, eat in a surplus of 200-300 calories or vice versus if cutting. Lmk if I missed anything

@@loopseeker my problem with that kind of talk is it can be demoralizing, a young person who aspires to be an athlete could click on this video hoping to get some insight into what they can do to improve their nutrition and by the time they finish watching the video theyre left thinking "whats the point in me trying when i dont have access to all that expensive stuff" im not saying he did it on purpose because i know he didnt he is genuinely just being honest but there are some things best left unsaid and telling everybody that you have your own privately hired chef on hand is one of those things thats best left unsaid, but thats just my opinion its different to yours and thats ok its all subjective, peace

Id be more interested finding out what he eats on game day. As it must be a lil strange having to play a game when most people are eating dinner/relaxing and unwinding. Then having to eat after the game e.g 10-11pm and sleep as well. Although sometimes B-ball players only get like 20 minutes on the court during a game, or less

no where near nba level. but i played intense men's leagues that had late games. one of my teammates actually says he doesn't eat after games at all. but for me, i just eat a substantial breakfast and lunch and then a small preworkout snack before games, like fruits. and then after the game just have a pretty substantial smoothie. in my smoothies i'll put kale/spinach, frozen berries, bananas, some nut butter, seeds, etc and my trade secret is adding soft tofu. it adds a good amount of protein with no weird taste added and really helps make the smoothie really smooth. i don't like using protein powder often cuz it normally has an overpowering taste.

Goes to show you that the diet industry is a scam. We would have gone the way of the dinosaur if carbs (as in starch, etc) were bad.
