@@chrisliepe Yes he is from a production stand point Jordan has his vocal lines perfectly pitched and aligned. So he can just blend in perfectly with Oli and also to make himself sound more robotic to not take away from Oli's tone. Jordan just knows how to be the perfect support and texture to Oli's voice.

The key to BMTHs vocal sound is that Jordan doubles up every vocal, adds saturation and a chorus like effect - their vocals blend so so well that hardly anyone notices that it’s probably 60 percent Jordan and 40 percent Sykes But the other thing that makes the performance is Oliver’s natural heavy lisp. It makes every Word have a spitting sound that just injects the passion. Sounds like he’s purposely going for all the plosives.
@prayforsauce38753 жыл бұрын
i love amo and tts just for that reason alone. the blend of jordan and olis voices is so unique to me. the newest album is fantastic too but olis voice has gotten so good that he doesn’t need as much help from jordan. like i’m happy for him and how he can carry himself but i feel something was taken from us at the same time 😭

Jordans years of producing really shows that the techniques are easy to learn but hard to master. Keeping the ear listening is the key, you can learn a million tricks but if you bore the listener it wouldn't matter if you used 100 plugins, or 1000. I love that you break it down to the core and show everyone exactly what it is.

Jordan fish. The keyboard guy produces alot of this himself. Which makes them so good live. He does all this live aswell as some of the vocal layers. So it always sound's as good live if not better sometimes. Some people think oli's singing over a backing track. But it Jordan. Their vocals blend so well together 😊❤

Jordan fish produces and sings some of those vocal layers. You can hear it more live. They sound ao good together. He used to be in a electric band, and Oli would go watch them. It was a riny band, like 10 people in the audience. Jordan was surprised. Ive noticed Oli,when like he tends to jut his chin forward when he aings those high gritty vocals. Thia is so interesting to liaten too. I can naturally hear all these layers. I listen to them over and over with headphones on purposely teying ti hear all the different soundsbin the background. Aome i miss because theyre ao subtle. But I will always hear them in this song now. And didn't realise that little bit was slightly reversed lyrics. Thata so cool. Im only 7 mins in. But love to hear this stuff. Have you broken down any if their really heavy stuff?

One artist I really would love to see you analyze would be Ice Nine Kills. Spencer's vocal capability is insanely diverse to the point that he almost appears to be a completely different artist in between tracks on the same album. The dichotomy between "A Grave Mistake" and say "Stabbing in the Dark" off of The Silver Scream is one comparison that definitely comes to mind that shows just how versatile he is as a vocalist. Food for thought and possibly a video idea in the future!
