It's evident that Lee took a bigger part on writing the album. As a guitar player i have to say that Lees guitar work at Top 10 statues that cried blood is amazing. And Kool-aid even has a proper metal guitar solo. Lee is actually an amazing player and i think he doesn't get enough credit.

bro, I remember checking out the old albums like count your blessings, there's a hell, sempiternal and bro, Lee did a magical job for those records, I really missed him on BMTH's new stuff. happy that now he is able to do what he knows

Lee is DISGUSTINGLY underrated, he's my 2nd favorite, I love them all really in the band, they're all perfect for each other, oli, lee and the 2 matts are the perfect 4

Lee is amazing. Yes, he gets overlooked. Diehards know though.

They even talked about the quality v quantity thing for parasite eve in their web series where it was jokey banter between them. Clearly showcased the two ideas though. I think it went deeper than that- I forgot that Jordan clip you showed where he was talking about how adventurous Oli wants a bring me song to sound to him whereas Jordan would like something more basic. I would say this definitely showcases their different headpsaces a lot. Awesome video though. I don’t think rip is a diss at all, it seems to be about the fictional world and characters within it from the ai perspective of eve, it seems fully conceptual as one of the characters in the albums world has a daughter- on the cover of nexgen, the second verse says “but it’s people like your daughter who give humans a bad name” which seems like its fully from the outside looking in, and as for the outro, i believe its fallen not fish that the guy says and they cut the word for a cheesy nod.

His team with Zakk is great. Poppy album is awesome, Architects never sounded better since Holy Hell and House Of Protection revived the original energy of Fever 333

Oli just kind of tired of Jordan’s formula and wants something fresh (whether pop or heavier stuff). Also Jordan got kid, as a family man can’t see himself touring all the time, so this is how the relationship came to an end.

I remember reading that on top of all that he was still getting hired gun money on tour and wanted the same compensation as the original members if he was gonna keep doing the road, but I don't know how much truth there is to it (if any)

there was a whole deeper reason he was kicked out, tom sykes mentioned it to some mates when he was giving them a tattoo. unsure on the reliability of what he did was genuine but it came from olis brother. The song Rip is about jordan, at the end it says "in loving memory of the f-" quite clearly bleeping out the "fish". also at the end of RIP it says "here are a few words from a dear friend" an leads into amen (produced by jordan) using his song against him with the intro "i hope you have fun rotting in hell."

My guess is people who subscribe to this channel do so mostly for Hip Hop adjacent content (Ye, Weeknd, Carti, JPEG Mafia, etc). I don’t know this band but I like Kacey’s videos so I clicked out of curiosity and enjoyed it.

What a video! Good job! I think BMTH has always been a great band and I will always support them. I will still praise Jordan tho 😂. PS. I don’t like how some tracks on Nex Gen sound tbh. It sounds so overproduced, and the songs sound bit too much. (just my opinion)

I have a crazy theory. Oli and Jordan both wanted BTMH to become the biggest rock band in the world, a band just as popular as Linkin Park. But then they heard rumors that LP was coming back (they could’ve ran into Mike Shinoda in Los Angeles while touring with FOB last year). This revelation crushes that dream, and the band splits up in frustration. Oli allows himself to dive into the heavier stuff again, and gets Lee and the two Matts involved again. Jordan moves on to produce for other metalcore acts, which seems to be what he wanted to do this entire time.
