It seemed to be a lovely Mass, but was the reason for the crackling recording mic ever determined?

Bishop O'Brian was the one that celebrate and confirm me at Our Lady Of Lourdes. I wonder what he was thinking when they assign him back to this diocese to do this special mass especially when he lead this diocese before.
