When I was a little girl I used to be into princesses and stuff. Barbie, Disney, and that space battles thing. I used to want to marry a prince like a true [CENSORED], but then I discovered Transformers. And when I read those Marvel Comics (out of order on google), I realized that the person I REALLY wanted to marry was Purple, Pink, Cyan, and a hecking Helicopter! He’s just so precious, mysterious, and BEAUTIFUL with a capital everything! I’ve been into Transformers for 8 years, and watching Spinister pop up unexpectedly like a mole in whack-a-mole was what I LIVED for! I love it when he gets attention, and this video gave me that same feeling of joy whenever I saw him! Thanks for the great videos, as always!

I think Spinister's been as durable as he is because of that name. ...Actually, talking of, it feels like a lot of characters from that era to be remembered are Decepticons. The other Decepticon Double Targetmasters, Needlenose and Quake, appear semi-frequently and have gotten some spotlight showings, while the Autobot Double Targetmasters are Landfill, Scoop, and Quickmix, of which only Scoop has ever gone onto anything (due mostly to his inexplicable Thrilling 30 toy). And it's the same thing with the Pretenders, where Bludgeon, Thunderwing, Monstructor, and Octopunch tend to show up a lot more often than any of that era's Autobots, with only Longtooth making occasional appearances. And of the Action Master originals, Banzaitron and Krok are easily the most noteworthy; closest thing to a big name after them is probably Jackpot.

I think there might be a good reason for that. There were more Autobots that Decepticons in the first few years of the line and since those characters tend to be the best-remembered there needs to be more Decepticons to bolster numbers in later incarnations. So we look to the Decepticon characters from later in those years. The other Autobots? Not necessary we already got enough iconic Autobots.

Spinister has to have goofiest name and colors and honestly that’s amazing. When it comes to my TF Collection, his Siege toy has to be one of my personal favorites cause it just radiates coolness, the transformation is fun and overall the figure can pull off some cool poses especially with a stand. Hopefully I can track down a G1 Spinister down the line. Amazing videos as always!

His color scheme is so outrageous its wonderful! When I got the original figure back in the day, it was between Spinister and one other. I had both figures at the register, but money enough for only one. I don't even remember what that other figure was. I'd love to get my hands on the latest figure!

As of October 2020, thanks to that new SIEGE toy, Spinister does show up in the Netflix WFC cartoon, as a soldier in Megatron’s forces. He briefly took on Optimus Prime, and got stabbed for his troubles, but survived and continued to fight Prime’s troops up until the space bridge explosion at the end of the first chapter. Though treated as just another face in the crowd, it marks Spinister’s first appearance on television.

I always mistook him for Vortex and this was after I got the Transformers discs that have episodes Search for Alpha Trion - BOT. That was when I was in Grade school but back then,I read this book my cousin used to have when I was super young. I recalled how Bludgeon sliced off Optimus' head and a wolf monster gasping for water when he was tired in the desert and not to mention,the cover of the annual having rampaging Dino robots which I later discovered they were the Dinobots. >_

I did enjoy the Collectors club version of the Mayhem Attack Squad. I know it’s not a canon version of the characters but I just love the idea of a target master combiner. Just imagine the five normal figures combine into the big guy, and each of the target master partners can combine into a larger gun for the combiner to use

I never had the original but the Siege figure is one of the best of an already good line. I'm a big fan of the IDW incarnation as well. Every time I read him telling Misfire that squirrels live in his brain when questioned on even having thoughts, it always reminds me of Roddy Piper as "Da Maniac" on It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia stating something similar (and vice versa when I watch it).
