in the TTRPG, The Bots that turn in into something that another must wield is a Origin called Armory Call, It cover any transformer that has a form that requires another to use them (Megatron), other wise if the bot could fire themselves (Galvatron) are any other Origin that would grant any alt mode. Target Master Have been added and you get Rig that a someone pilots and it turns into the Head, weapon, or Power thing of the 3 types of Masters.

Hello from 2025! I can believe I didn’t notice you had this video up these past few years! I remember watching The Transformers: The Movie as a kid. We rented it from Blockbuster because I had seen the original Robots In Disguise cartoon and recognized that it was Also transformers. I absolutely ADORED that movie and Hot Rod by extension. I’ve only just started watching the G1 cartoon now that I’m in my 30s and I’m finally seeing what Optimus was like as a leader for the cartoons and will get to see how Rodimus does when I get to that season. I’m also intending on reading the IDW comics since he gets so much attention there and I’m pretty starved for content. Image Comics (working with Skybound) are now the holders of the rights to Transformers comics and are creating a huge interconnected world with the current Transformers, G.I.Joe (COBRA, Duke, Cobra Commander…), and the completely new Void Rivals comics. It’s so extensive I’ve decided to only buy Trade Issues. But we definitely see a more G1 accurate Hot Rod in this one. Magenta paint job and all ❤

I’ve always thought it would be interesting if the whole “gender” thing was completely and only because of contact with other species that do have dimorphic genders. And Cybertronian just wouldn’t have had gendered pronouns before then. Femme could be just another Frame type, like being a Flight Frame or Speedsters. Or even just a Sub-type of frames. After all, being a Femme isn’t the only way to be “Female” for them. Fembots were introduced with that slimmer, more human physique but many of the bots introduced or reintroduced as female later on don’t.

Those figures for the most part are not TRUE Transformers. They already existed as Diaclone and Microchange figures AND had names with a story to boot. They were just repackaged with sticker sheets as The Transformers. For the show they changed the way the toys looked DRASTICALLY (Toy Ironhide to toon Ironhide😲) meaning the toys "INSPIRED" the show chacracters but they are NOT them💯 TRUE Transformers came about in 1986 when Hasbro had to CREATE NEW CHACRATERS/TOYS. So the movie chacracters (except Ultra Magnus) are true Transformer toys. From the War For Cybertron Trilogy and Studio 86 toys onward are also considered TURE Transformers and are screen accurate unlike the Diaclone/Microchange figures of 1984/85🤓

I love Quake, I still have my 80s Quake from when I was a kid (which I think has really good engineering for its time), I also love my Titan's Return repaint of Hardhead it's such a great mould, and unusually for lazy Hasbro is gorgeous down to the minor details. If u wanna deny Hasbro's laziness, look at the new Legacy monstrosity...
