An SS86 Blitzwing would likely just take the Legacy version and do what Takara did with the Titans Return one for their LG59 version: replace all that dark purple with a lighter purple (around the same shade as either Kingdom Galvatron or Kingdom Cyclonus). Maybe even take away the sword, since he didn't really have it in the Movie.

Blitzwing’s whole arc in 5 Faces of Darkness needs to get more attention. I know it was originally planned for Shockwave, but that’s besides the point. Consider this for a second: Without Blitzwing, we might not have gotten Dinobot, Blackarachnia or Autobot Megatron. Unless you want to include Jetfire into this, but that’ll only make sense if you’re using the original Marvel Comics version of him, the cartoon version wasn’t as compelling.

I feel like a design team as knowledgeable as the one for the live-action films (in contrast to the writers and producers) wouldn't name a Seeker Blitzwing for no reason. I believe you theorized that Blitzwing could be rebuilt into a Triple-Changer a long time ago. Subsequent filmmakers would fumble by not taking that opportunity.

Blitzwing is my favorite Decepticon triple changer. Animated Blitzwing is my version of Blitzwing. I hope there’s a new Animated Blitzwing toy for the legacy universe toyline. Blitzwing is king of air and ground and is fierce. The Legacy figure I got at xmas for $29 and is awesome, the jet mode looks better than portrayed in most fan reviews.

Blitzwing's g1 toy is an enigma, truly one of the wonkiest interpretations of the artwork that led to a crazy misunderstanding that completely boned the legacy figure.

I love this guy, and it's crazy good how they made him in Animated, intentionally or not he's a representation of the terrors of war, especially ww2 (as hinted by the way he's built like an uniformed soldier and his german accent), the strategist cunning mind who leads the course of the war, the brutal unmerciful general, and the frontline soldier in his "random" personality, the latter even a mirror to real life soldier who went mad due to ptsd. The writers manage to hint at all this subtly while maintaining him a goofy and funny evil henchman for your average morning cartoon! 👌💯❤

I absolutely love that his tank mode is always wrong. If you look at the original pictures, the turret is supposed to be facing the opposite of the cockpit from the jet. It’s just points toward the cockpit. I’m telling you look at the original pictures.

Blitzwing in Animated is my favorite incarnation of the character. Animated cooked with many of the characters’ designs and writing and Blitzwing is no different. I thought him having three faces with different personalities was interesting and hilarious. Bumper Robinson was great as Blitzwing and I would’ve never thought Bee and Blitz were voiced by the same person as they sound completely different. You’re probably getting tired of me requesting this, but please do a retrospective on Lady Chromia!

But as Im listening to the video you talked about MASK, and Transformers Devastation. I used to love that intro to Mask. Found a certain spider's wolf/eagle boyfriend today. I found an interesting detail, if you don't close his mouth before transforming him the grey part of his belly will pop off. It's only connected by four 5mm posts which is interesting? I also "accidentally" put the swords on the correct side without even realizing they were different and could only go on a specific side. Silverbolt is a fun figure, and his face in wolf/eagle mode is adorable, he looks so happy when his mouth's open!

My blitzwing keep in mind I made this version of him when I was like 13 and only scene a few seconds of him: blitzwing was also appeared in the alligned continuity, though he wasn’t a Decepticon, he was a disaster bot, one of 5 manmade transformers who could cause smaller versions of national disasters. He was originally a non sentient drone designed to take out the rescue bots, but he and the other disaster bots were granted sparks via the sparksayer, this blitzswing was a notorious traitor, quick to take out his leader to take command for himself, and was insanly violent prioritizing the destruction of his rival hotshot over anything else, the only reason he remained on the team was because his leader was making an combiner and needed blitzswing to be part of it. He also has a video screen for a face and there was a running gag of his face screen being cracked only to reveal he was wearing a screen protector and replacing it on site

Using Blitzwing as cannon fodder in the Bumblebee Movie (I think) was a mistake. They should have let him be the triple changer working with Shatter and given the voice box scene to someone like Thrust, Hotlink, Dirge, Novastorm, or any other of the cannon fodder seekers.

I'm having a heck of a time with Legacy Blitzwing's legs, transforming them. I kinda have them stuck a certain incorrect way because for some reason the pins don't align in at least one leg at the top near the knee so i can't close it properly.

It's funny my little cousin, who was born in the late 80s early 90s was lifted several generation 2 toys including the new alt mode megatron who transformed into a tank. When he went back years later and watched the series proper he was really confused as to why blitzwing was the tank and not megatron lile his toy! I wonder if any other kids had this experience?
