The following helped me: 1. Press the windows key + R which opens the run dialog. 2. Enter the following and press return: C:\Program Files\Corsair\Corsair iCUE5 Software\icue-uninstaller.exe -a repair 3. If “repair” doesn't work, "uninstall" can also be used to reinstall the software. Another version: 1. Start the console and change the directory with the following command: cd C:\Program Files\Corsair\Corsair iCUE5 Software\ 2. Execute the following command: icue-uninstaller.exe -a repair 3. If “repair” doesn't work, "uninstall" can also be used to reinstall the software.

@@kiwiez7814 Have you installed the software under the specified path? If not, you can also search for “icue-uninstaller.exe” in Windows Explorer and change the path in step 2 to the directory found. Unfortunately, my solution only works if the software is still installed but cannot be uninstalled directly via Windows.

The fact that you literally have to spend an hour hunting down tutorials, figuring out registry edits, safe mode stuff, delete here, change that just to uninstall 1 program is completely unacceptable.

This is what helped me: 1. Download the Revo Installer. 2. Opened up your Corsair file, then make a shortcut Desktop of the ICUE launcher. 3. In the Revo program there is a "Hunter mode" click on that and it should give you a blue circle cross hair on your desktop. 4. Drag that cross hair to the shortcut ICUE launcher icon you've made on your desktop. 5. Congratulations you can now delete the registry and files off your computer. Hope that helps.

The final recommendation worked. Was able to uninstall and reinstall with the latest firmware update. All I was trying to do was update the app.

Useless for me too… 😢 When I reboot in safe mode and look for iCue in the installed applications menu, I get a different icon than the iCue logo and it does not give me any option to either modify or uninstall the application. I don't know what else to do… Corsair software is absolute bullcrap

What worked for me was turn off boot up on system start up on icue settings reboot pc and now the greyed out uninstall button will allow you to click on it! Hope this helps.

The first step I did was use a similar tool that was through Microsoft and actually had the older version so I deleted also all Corsair files in file explorer there were two location I think then ended all Icue task in manger and tried to update to the newest version no luck so I ran cmd prompt, stc/scannow and restarted tried to download again didn’t work found your video got revo I tried to uninstall didn’t work got scared cause I couldn’t used hunter cause I already deleted Icue and couldn’t make a shortcut so I did a uninstall attempt again nothing so I scanned and found all the files I needed to burn did it restart and was able to update!

I could not see corsair in the programs and features, but doing the repair command from commands made it show again, but when I try to uninstall I get stuck at 20%. So still unable to uninstall. Ive been wanting to fix ICUE for like 2 years and I cant believe we're almost in 2025 and this shit ass software is still acting up..

If it’s giving you the same issue, restart in safe mode, completely delete the Corsair folder in program files, restart back in windows and repair. An error may pop up at first but it will fix the issue.

Follow your directory from iCUE, see where it leads you, it's more than likely corrupted.

I solved it for me. After nothing worked before, i started in save mode and manually deleted every corsair folder. Afterwards i did a reinstall and it was ok again.

More than likely your file is corrupt, do a reinstall and repair after that do an uninstall and you should be good from there.
