No matter how far you are, id say take the ride over to the shop Brent. Bring the bike from wherever you live; across oceans doesnt matter..just make the trip. Would Feb 1st around 1400hrs be a good time to bring the bike? I think you could make the trip here there are many ways Brent. Anything is possible. For the price difference between a nearly new GSXR750 and this 2006 its a no brainer given that a newer one when tuned only gets you about 5hp.

Took the plates out of my V-strom. They are supposed to make the throttle smoother. Seems like they kill the power on the higher HP bikes. Lean is better than rich IMO. Some Suzuki's have the PAIR system too.

Removing the plates will not throw a light. No go on the ECU swap

Just a lil tip from the owner, my secondaries aren’t “actually” out. They were just disengaged by the previous owner. It used to be a track bike, all he did instead of trying to remove them was disconnected the rod that controls them on the side of the intake, the actual flaps are still in the bike they’re just open. I noticed this when I had to get in there and replace my stator/ rectifier. Hope this helps! 🤘💪
