This testing method is inaccurate. You exhale smoke after 2sec max, you don’t hold every toke in until it absorbs… This method takes no account for the 90 breaks in between those 90 joints when your lungs try to partially cleanse themselves. Plus, this is roached joints (mixed with baccy or are they actually blunts?). Not water filtered bongs.

Tars are, to some degree, eaten by killer cells, but some stuff stays in forever, like the asbestos needles in my grandfather's lungs. Unless you're a baby, you don't have pristine pink lungs. However, they never become completely black, either, those black lungs you see on graphic health warnings are dyed for shock value.

This is why I used a tincture method to consume it orally to treat my Crohn's and Multiple Sclerosis. Was able to dose it to just a minimum amount to make it effective and avoid getting intoxicated. WARNING LONG DETAILED ;) Really enjoyed the video, hard to find stuff like this on the subject. Couple things to think about imo: First, when smoking you exhale the smoke so it would not all "settle" like it does in the bottle in the video example. Also you cough over time and get more of the particles out and your lungs filter some of it over time and churn it upwards. Second, the resin you are seeing at the end is actually mostly cannabinoids, which are the active ingredient in weed and why it makes you high. But, the body can indeed naturally process cannabinoids and be okay with it. Thus, most of the resin actually does get absorbed by the body over time, and isn't harmful. But it's still tar and resin, so there will be carbon particulates in it. Which leads to my last point. If you're using a regular joint like this with a fairly mediocre filter, that's a pretty harsh way to smoke. If you used a water filtration bong, with 3 water stages/filter points, the smoke tends to be a lot more creamy and smooth and the carbon particles are largely filtered out (cannabinoids are not soluble in water, so don't get filtered out quite as much but still do) as well as catching more solid carbon particulates (ie. The ash catcher). IMVHO, although there aren't many studies on it only a few, i believe proper bong smoking is actually a bit healthier than joints/blunts, not that I'm encouraging smoking. I'm just spreading good awareness of how to be healthy if you do choose to smoke. I'd be interested to see the study performed with water pipe smoke that has 3+ filter stages (ash catcher, disc, tree perc) but I think it's a lot more hard to do.
