Thanks for your links to products needed...but have to say, the PVC fittings are grossly overpriced on Amazon. Do much, much better at Lowes or HD!!

I just completed building this trap using some scrap pallet wood. Everything worked out perfectly, but no squirrel yet. I'm trying to catch them before they enter my attic at night.

This is great, I think I’m gonna try this. I’m doing the head on my engine and some carbon/other contaminants got dropped into the holes where the lifters are. This is much simpler than other methods I’ve found and I can do this for free if I can find all the right hoses around the shop

Ill just say your video helped me because I didnt know... but TILT, PROP, TILT, PROP... took 2 minutes. I used a pot grinder to prop. PS: Show about 10 threads. "About" because it doesn't have to be exact. ...and thank you.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Now, I need to get my husband to make it. Lol This is great. I've tried so many things, and the squirrels still get the seed. The pepper liquid over the seed did help. Can you tell us about the camera's you use as well?

Great video. But you don't need a gadget to tell you if there is still electricity going to the unit. Just try to turn it on after you've flipped the breaker! No power = no electricity.

Hum, so every simple knot I do on my shoes are sliding, clock or counterclock wise. But. I never did simple knots, as I always doubled the knot, and it doesn't move, at all. Is there people doing simple knots ?

Remember what I say at the end…...Both smoking and vaping are bad, but one is way way way less bad. Get off cigarettes using vape due to the fact you can adjust the nicotine level yourself slowly down to zero, then throw away vape. That is vape's only purpose. As a cessation device to help you quit smoking cigarettes. Story over.

Coming back to this in 2025 to thank you again for posting, this changed me! I’ve been 99.9% exclusively vapes since I saw this video!

Could you use a normal vacuum cleaner to do this??
@chrisnotap2 күн бұрын
It may leave an odour in the vacuum from the oil. Then it will smell up your house.

Am I the only one worried that the blade will break and/or come flying out??
@chrisnotap2 күн бұрын
I tested it before making the video. Loosen the blade a bit and then try using it. The blade just rotates and falls out and doesn’t go flying.

As a Wildlife Biologist, may I add a modification? I'd suggest using metal for roof with 1/16" screen with metal frame. Reason is that I've had squirrels chew both plexiglass and wood to get into bird feeder. But as for the rest of your design, I thank you!!!
@chrisnotap3 күн бұрын
Not sure if I follow you. You suggest a metal roof but what do you mean by 1/16” screen and frame? And on a side note there isn’t a single chew mark on any of the wood on this feeder. I don’t know why this is. They are prolific chewers.
@KSmith-wl9yy3 күн бұрын
@chrisnotap use 1/16" screen on the bottom to allow air flow below the seeds and easy to clean build-up of bird poo. Some type of "metal frame" would hold the screen in.

For years I've tried everything to keep those "tree rats" away from my bird feeders....and now I happened upon this video and "WOW"!! I'm a fan, and going to try it myself. And, seeing squirrels not able to steal every bite of food, makes me a very happy person! Thanks so much, I appreciate your invention..🤗☺❤
