Catch Bigger fish on your canal with this method! This session I hit the local canal in search of some bigger fish on course tactics. That being the classic waggler. Something most of us start out doing when it comes to course fishing in the UK. In this video I talk through the method, baits and rigs to be able to catch some real nice fish from the canals. And obviously catch plenty to prove the method works. Hope you enjoy!

Love this channel, just shows how fishing should be. Easy to get swallowed up in carp fishing or match fishing but this is what it’s all about really.

@@The_ginger_fisherman do you think corn will work well on the canal.. small banded pellet? Love the video too.

What do you define as carp fishing ? I fish for carp in margins on floats using bread, corn etc even freelining.. not all carp anglers sit behind alarm all the time some of us still rock the old school methods when the conditions favour it.. Match fishing is the worst of the worst fishing going.. cramming nets full, ragging fish in quick as possible and have more gear than carp anglers to sit catching peckers all day

@@ETH85 I think he means more like a 2/3 rod setup and bivvie style carp fishing.

Got these thinking they were the slightly larger Panfish floats kzbin.infoUgkx_rJB7cli5f1ofPVGgn80S7Yj4vqwq0gU they work just fine. The smaller size lets me carry more in my tackle box, and the 3 color choices are nice for different lighting conditions, backgrounds, etc. They aren't the most durable things in the world. But, as cheap as they are, it's not heartbreaking to lose one or have to replace a worn one. The price on these fluctuates wildly, from about $9 to almost $16. So, time your buy accordingly.

Sweetcorn blended with condensated milk (carnation) and a few tablespoons of custard powder, puts a sweet cloud into the water with tiny bits of sweetcorn in it creating a nice carpet of food on the bottom.
