Today, I'm taking a look at a vintage packing puzzle from the 80's called Ice Java. It's a creation from Toyo Glass and the goal is to fit the pieces of ice tea , the straw and the ice cubes in to the glass so that it fits nice and snug! Enjoy!

I like puzzles like this where you have to fiddle with pieces for a while. Honestly, sometimes I even just listen to the audio of this type of puzzle solving videos because the jazz and Chris's calm voice makes me relax after a long day of working with noisy children. 🥰 Sometimes, simple can be just as good and entertaining as some of the more complex and intricate puzzles he solves.

@chrisramsay Your comment about these puzzle types being meditative made me this of a very unique set of 2D jigsaw puzzles I was recommended some time back from a Canadian company called Stumpcraft that are absolutely gorgeous and were similarly meditative.

Heh, the kind of puzzle I could never do. Outside odds I could **mayyybe** figure it out, but I'm so ham-handed, doubt I could have stacked the pieces out beside the cup, let alone got my fingers inside it while moving pieces around. I love jigsaw and packing puzzles that are 3D objects. The whiskey glass one was fun. I remember my uncle had a wooden car puzzle. It was like 6 or 8 pieces and was super simple solve but it looked so cool.

This one is hard to see the differentiation in the pieces because of the low lighting. Otherwise really cool little puzzle. The color of the pieces, the satisfying clinking, and the form factor are great! Awesome video as always

That's always the thing with these puzzles, they are usually easier from the top down, but you also have the container. It's a balancing act of figuring it out without the aid of the container, and then putting it in the container
