No 1# 4 rotations to the left & stop on 9. No 2# 3 rotations right and stop on 3. No 3# 2 rotations to the left and stop on 2. THEN - rotation right pulls the latch & opens the lock 932 being the locations on a clock to stop the dial at the 12 o'clock mark externally with relation to the dial (with 12 being where the dot was placed in the video)

@@KrazeeKraftZ As a puzzle box maker myself, a large scale is not a good strategy. Selling 100k units for 99$ is too much time for printing and assembly, it would not be profitable, not counting the time spent on conception. We are talking about months of deep thinking, design and prototyping, this is what you buy in fact. The good strategy is pre-order to determine the number of units to be produced, then adapt the production assets and build. For a large scale, it needs industrial production ressources and assembly process, which is not possible here as a complex puzzle assembly is like assembling a watch. It demands a lot of precision that only hand can achieve. Industrial production would require a huge setup investment. Moreover, the customers for such kind of product love the limited series as the puzzle box becomes a collector item.

Needs a tiny "pressure-clamp" to hold the guy on the boat. One that locks after it departs a landing and opens after it reaches one to drop him off. That rubber-band needs to be a spring. Rubber bands deteriorate in air and melt when touching certain plastics. I think the cypher had to do with the first "lock" to unlock it. The three letters have to do with the 3 digits of the code for rotation of the dial, to align the tumblers". (Which failed due to the broken rubber-band.) Honestly, that could have also been a simple "spring-steel band" too.

Now that all 99 copies of it have been sold, he could just release the STLs so that anybody can join in on the fun and print their own! I'd happily pay for them, too.

Just as you were attempting another line of enquiry, pesky sponsored ad kicked in interrupting the video; on this occasion, announcing that Disney Plus are now running The Simpsons; heralded by Homer very loudly going 'DOH!'.... ye hadda be there 😂

Loved the concept of this one, but like you, I’m thinking what was the purpose of all those bits with the code?

I love the idea of this puzzle. Charming as hell. Very detailed. Is it worth 1000$? Not for something with this many flaws that need to be worked out... broken elastic... the lil knight yeeting himself off the boat.... It might be better to have the a knight that's built into the puzzle, even if it looks a lil less like a knight.

I can't recall that I ever saw you using a marker on any puzzle box. The Ideas of this box are really good... but I did not get the feeling that I would enjoy this puzzle.
