In the ledger, the numbers for L, I and E are there. In the end, 'Friends don't lie' is written so the arithmetic must be done for numbers
@jaunusender61662 жыл бұрын
Ok, so that book still had THAC0 which was when an armor class number went down to get better. That said, an armor class of 14 in a THAC0 system is just a bit low for an established character. Well written.

I ma so old I remember whe D&D was being developed. They would take it around to conventions and have fans play it and give feedback. I remember back then they actually expected to to play out the roles physically rather than mentally which was part of my feedback. Not everyone would be comfortable doing so. Looks like they took that advise. Sure you can dress or act like your character but you do not need to role-play every action. The icosahedron dice idea was brilliant. So geometrically perfect a shape for "nerds". Polyhedrons dice merge random with order.

if I was the puzzle master who created this, I would have used the scoring on the "Secret Knock" piece and the rectangular hole as a line up for the text with a mark to line it up. Other than that, very interesting puzzle. I've seen some notes that remind me of this, trying to keep their research notes secret and obscuring stuff. Usually got discarded, "I was way too intoxicated on stuff. That's just nuts." Me: "What was the idea?" Them: "Plank length might be variable, not a constant." Me: "Space and time and both are malleable so why not a variable Plank length?" Them: *Speechless*. They hadn't realized I took both a Physics class in HS and an Astronomy class in college, and they were taking their first physics class. :) I patted him on the shoulder and said it'll be 'Okay' but something's going throw a monkey wrench into the whole thing. Turned out that thing was "Dark matter/Dark energy". They're an unknown that a variable Plank "Constant" could explain. AT THE TIME. This was in the mid to late 90s. Nobody's really looked into that in that way to my knowledge.

This is awesome, I've always wanted to get into Stranger Things but I got halfway into the first season and only then realized how squeamish I am when it comes to the weird living flesh stuff? I'm referring to the stuff the alternative(?) World the the kids got stuck in seems made of, I usually have no problem with horror but I guess body horror is different, maybe someday I'll understand all the references on this cube, but for now, I'll sit and wait until I feel comfortable enough to finish the show. (Also, since I'm unaware if it's not too big of a spoiler can someone explain what the fleshy stuff really is? I think I know what the other world is called, since it's the title of the cube, but still, I'd like to know a little bit more about what the stuff is called so I can explain better about why I(really my stomach) don't like it)
