I don't know if this might be helpful in any way, but as someone who buys coloring books rather than creating them, I specifically look for square-format books (I don't have time for larger ones). However, there's no way to search for them, or it's not mentioned in the title. Maybe it's something that could be added?

As an author of coloring books myself, customer suggestions and or feedback is very important for us to know as it makes us aware of what customers like yourself, like or dislike, and I usually make my kids and adults coloring books mostly square, 8.5 "x 8.5". I only started creating coloring books and journals about two months ago, lol. I read somewhere that square coloring books are much better for customers as you have stated, so thank you very much for your helpful comment. I haven't sold any yet but I believe it takes a while, lol. I'll also be uploading my historical romance novel in the next few days as soon as I can eventually get the format correct, which can be quite confusing for a 66 year old granny, lol. I'm also about half way through my second novel which is a sci-fi story about an old age home, the funny oldies living there and some hilarious things they get up to...and aliens thrown in the mix too. Have a lovely festive season to you and your loved ones and all here.

I plan to come back to coloring book starting 2025. But when I made two books well it was 3 books I never gotten sells and I tried doing ads and ads on the other amazon platform. But no success I wasted money and I ran it for sometime. But I truly want to start this and get serious with it so I can have this as on going thing. I used mid journey for my coloring and book bolt to create it

What is a decent conversion rate to warrant letting a book continue on with ads? In your opinion how much does a books price play in actually converting into a sale? Thanks for continuing to put out incredible content

I find more buyer resistance towards the $8 mark. Conversions I like to see around 1 in 10 for autos but also paired with a low CPC

You'd be doing a lot of the work yourself in that case, probably with AI - and $30 on ads probably isn't worth it unless you are just testing. Most people shouldn't run ads anyway

During the launch period, is it better to allocate $5 for 2 weeks, or $3 for a month? And why? I have limited budget, and this is going to be my first book.

I'd say such a budget must be met with a low bid, meaning you might have to leave it a long time to get any clicks, so a month I guess
