ITVX. Why it it so slow ?

I agree ITV X is very poor. I now have high speed internet at home and it is still the worst. The worse part of it is when it crashes during adverts. So I no longer use it.

It is dreadful, constant buffering, stopping when adverts start, can't return to previous shows. I have given up after so many problems Too frustrating

Same for us chris brand new tv thought it was the signal as we live in a valley but I player quicker. Hope your shoulder is improving take care lisa

Ours is the same. It takes about 20 seconds to get started and then the rows of shows appear at 10 second intervals. All our other players are nice & quick. Sony 4k TV about 3 years old and kept up to date.

Yep itvx is awful. Slow, laggy, buffering is dreadful but somehow the adverts always manage to load perfectly. My hunch is they make it so crap so you upgrade to the premium version!!

So glad you put this up, I’ve been going insane with my ITV X and I pay for the ads to be removed. Pathetic excuse for a channel and service by ITVX 😡

I was wondering about that too. I have been watching a boxset, half way through ( had to be really patient to manage that) and now won't work at all. Not offering the box set anymore. Think it is a rouse for me to update.

I just reset smart hub on my samsung tv and then reinstalled itvx and it fixed it. Press the smart hub button. 1. Navigate to and select Settings, and then select All Settings. 2 Select Support. 3 Select Device Care, and then select Self Diagnosis. 4 Select Reset Smart Hub.

It’s called dynamic tension force with your poor hand against your good hands in all directions. Example 10 seconds up with your right hand, push the same hand down with your left. In with your right hand and push back with your left. Do that in every position you’re able to do with your right hand. Get soon mate

mate i’ve got a top of the range lg oled and it’s horrible on mine as well, we have a panasonic in the bedroom and it’s bad on there and we even went to a firestick in the bedroom to see if it’s any better and that’s terrible as well. itvx is like u say crap

@@ChrisReardonUKexactly mate, we hardly ever use it now if we can help it, even once the programmes playing it’s plagued with issues like a pop up saying there seems to be a problem with your internet then it’ll just start playing again and sometimes after an advert it buffers for ages, my internet is rapid fast and no issues with anything else

I have no issues with itx , alas I use it on fire TV box. It loads up within 10 seconds. Is your itv X updated to the latest version perhaps that why , if your TV is set to update apps auto it should do that. Or you could try taking the app off and re install it if it allows you to. My parents use itv X on a sky q box that works no problems also is quick to load etc. Hopefully you'll get full movement back in not too long with your arm/shoulder. 😊

Why so fast on your TV? ITVX Premium is much slower on my Sony Bravia, and ITVX keeps blaming the TV cache (not so) though I do only have 600mb broadband 😂

Thought this was just my Samsung TV. But sad to say it looks bad on all TVs. ITVX is the very worst.amd to think, this is supposed to be the 'improved version from the old ITV Player! Even My5 is better than this ha ha.
