DUDE!!!! :-) You're my hero! Dec 6th, 2024. It took 6 videos to get a work around. Bypassing and going directly into the admin account, creating my local user account, and then closing the admin account, and then deleting the default account is the way I fixed it. You are a CHAMP!!!!

Just tried this August 24, 2024. Worked like a charm! I used the 3rd option you showed, as it seemed simpler. It is ridiculous how Microsoft has elected to not only force new hardware on Users to run Win11, but also how they have tried to force us to use a Microsoft account. What pros won't tell you. If you cant use shift + F10, try Fn + shift + F10. Sometimes the keyboard on the laptop is set to function keys as default, so if you press just f10 you will be pressing a special function not the actual F10. Leave a like :)

Hi Chris, I made all the process and have deleted the Administrator account but now around mn 14 of your video, my personal account "Pascale" is a "local account and administrator" ... and I restart the PC but same. I still have all the applications on my screen , it is not like your screen almost empty .. does this mean that I miss one step ? it looks that I am the only one and the windows admin is gone , how can I be sure please ? New HP laptop arrived today and I have been trying all day to get around creating a MS account. I tried shift f10 & ctrl f10 that did not work. Fn+Ctrl f10 finally worked however it brought me to a blue interface that gave me several options. I was able to access CMD from the Advanced Options. Once at the prompt it does not have C: it only has X: I have tried switching it to C: however the message states "command not recognized." So I just went ahead and used the directions on video for oobe/msoobe this also stated 'oobe\msoobe' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. Now what? I'm so digusted with MS I want to cry.😭

Here's an easy way. Install an old version of Windows 11, using whichever trick you like, then upgrade to the newer version.

Unfortunately when you first start the computer it asks you to connect to the internet, it then immediately connects to the server and updates. I have setup laptops recently that were manufactured well over 6 months since Microsoft made this change and they still don't allow you to bypass the ms account.

@@cwtek1 Download the older ISO (personally I used 22H2), disconnect from your network, clean install, use whichever old trick you use to bypass the MS account, setup your local account, the use the Windows Update to get to the latest version, and the job's a good one. I've done it with a netbook and a laptop and had no issues. Must admit I do the same with Windows 10 now as well.

You could do that but you will also have to detach your Microsoft account from other Microsoft apps such as OneDrive and Edge etc. If you sell the laptop it won’t be a problem just make sure you take it back to factory settings.

August 28-2024 the command; oobe\bypassnro worked for me, Windows doesn’t allow you to open the command window by pressing shift plus F 10 anymore if your keyboard has the function key Fn, After pressing shift Press FN and then F10 and the command window is gonna open, After I enter the command, I turn off my modern and I was able to bypass the registration. @@cwtek1 I did, three times. But the system crashed soon after that, and then crashed again during the update phase when I went ahead and did use my MS account, even after a complete system reset, so I assume I've been sent a faulty machine.

2nd methos worked for me on asus zenbook. I had to use Fn+Esc to lock my function keys 1st because F10 is my camera key as well. Shift+F10 worked after i did that
