Thank you! I’ve been using MS DOS/Windows since the 1980s (I was an assembler-level programmer for a few years in the early 1970s, before that Algol60, and subsequently Fortran and many others). The whole business bores me now and I just want to USE them d-mn thing, but it’s getting more and more difficult with MS’s and other’s Fisher-Price interfaces. GGRRR! 👍👍👍😁

Thanks Dave! Worked perfectly even after I had gone too far and setup internet connection. Followed your advice and went back and started again. Had to hold Shift+fn+F10 as you suggested (Shift+F10 alone didn't work) and it worked like a dream. 👌👍

I always calling out Task manager by right click the task bar or press ctrl+alt+del then select it, as I learned it from my parent twenty years ago. Now I learned from this video that ctrl+shift+esc work too!

It seems like they have stopped these methods too. Trying to set this up for a friend using a Lenovo laptop. It doesn't allow you to switch to another application, even though I can see that it has opened. Annoying!

Sorry any method does not achieve any "I don't have any network" appearing after using task manager option end task after selecting "Network Connection Flow" Tried Cmd in Admin mode. Keyboard does not allow typed characters-no response. After several attempts. I would suspect "Bloody useless" Microsoft have added more patches again in late August. Next I will try installing again without any internet, therefore stopping any updates before setting up "Local user account" Any other thoughts would be handy. Cheers Bob

Tested on 2 September 2024: Works without disabling internet using airplane mode. Just open cmd and type the command and done. (Atleast for me it works)

Hi can you help me out?
