Yep b series d series h series and k series Turbo build always make sure you have the right fitment for turbo builds also if your good at fabrication that’s a plus if you get a flat tire on a part that doesn’t fit

Hey. Why not open the PCV and vent to atmosphere to help reduce crankcase pressure

I suggested to the owner to do a catch can setup, but for now to get him driving out of my shop I cap it off

Thank you for this walk through. I will come back to this when I finish my Ep3 and leave a comment

Beautiful artwork for real!! I like how you made the downpipe go underneath to make an exhaust if the customer wants to have an exhaust hookup. The pipes out of the hood an import just shows laziness in my opinion. But again that was great fabrication work on your part !!!
@ChrisSadowski3 ай бұрын
Thanks dude! I agree. Most cases of hood exit is really just a lack of budget and skill on there part. Only time I personally think it’s okay is for track dedicated drag cars solely just for power, any street car with hood exit is just looking for attention in the wrong way

Nice video with lots of good info! Looking forward to the dyno vid!
@ChrisSadowski7 ай бұрын
Unfortunately wasn’t able to get the time to go to the dyno with the customer, but on low boost I believe he made around 400/380+- A nice setup to work with!

I wasnt really excited about the content because im not ready to kswap or turbo yet.... BUT, everything else about the way you executed this film was more enjoyable. I liked the audio being more thought out and if it was dubbed over then smart move cuz it saves on editing. Very straight forward and packed with good info. You should keep trying to have "swap" guides or create a seperate series just for swaps aside from the vlog style vids

Figured I’d give the voiceover stuff a shot. Been wanting to switch up styles here and there for awhile now just haven’t had the motivation or time. But this project I felt was a good niche video to make instead of the traditional build “series” and just try to sum it up in one basic video, went and bought a decent mic to record it on and just voiced over all the footage I recorded while working 🙏🏼

Great video Chris! Would you happen to know how much power the customer achieved with this setup?
@ChrisSadowski2 ай бұрын
I can’t recall the exact numbers, but I think it was around 400whp, maybe 300tq? I’m sorry I don’t remember for sure. He took me for a ride in it a few months ago when it was off the Dino and it was a definite ripper!

Why not vent the pcv and avoid crank pressure also? Doesn’t look like it has an any where to go that’s how you end up with all kinds of oil leaks from pressure finding a way to vent.
@ChrisSadowski3 ай бұрын
Pcv gets vented yes, valve cover fitting can go into the intake tube pre turbo.

How did that blue oil return line work out? Almost every turbo k I have done feeds to the front of the pan, did this turbo back feed?
@ChrisSadowskiАй бұрын
As far as I know it’s still running the same setup just fine.
@LaptopCivicАй бұрын
@ good to know , I may just tap the pan but the ease of install for that price I may just order it, know any that are smooth machines without gasket

They all are gonna need a gasket or hondabond

Hey man, Great Video! Do you recommend a sidewinder or a log style manifold?
@ChrisSadowski7 ай бұрын
sidewinder will always make you more power and flow better, but if the highest HP isn't your goal, a log is a great way to get yourself going. I recommend the top mount log from JUSTIG on instagram, his are solid and make great power still!
@tetfemal037 ай бұрын
@@ChrisSadowski Yeah I had the JustTig log manifold on the listed of things to buy until I saw this video. Thanks Fam!
