I think the most disrespectful thing about Laverne Cox response video was in the caption she wrote to “people who menstruate”. She still refused to acknowledge us as women. Then she said we should stick together because trans-women are dying, and families can’t get gender affirming care for their kids. Not one mention of an issue that actually affects biological black women. And even weirder, why does she think black women align with kids altering their bodies to change their gender/sex? 🤨 I’m pretty sure a lot of black women don’t agree with that.

I disagree, REAL feminists HATEEEEE THIS MOVEMENT. Literally
@Sweet-as-banana Жыл бұрын
Not true. 2nd, 3rd, and 4th wave feminism believe that males and females are literally the same. Feminism has also been supportive of transsexuals since the 1970s. Only Religious people, Anti-Feminists, or 1st wave feminists would be against transsexuals and the abolition of gender/sex. However most feminists today are 2nd/3rd/4th wave and are against the aforementioned ideologies because they're all against abortion, promiscuous sex, ect,. So, no, feminists for the most part would not be against transsexuals or the abolition of gender/sex. That's literally been the end goal for a while now of the feminist movement that you can read about in their literature (see: Shulamith Firestone and Simone de Beauvoir).

@@angeltangle thank you, and yes I don’t take it personal when the pronouns aren’t honored for certain trans women and I didn’t take it personal when Jess responded to that TikTok fool of a trans woman. Hit dogs will holler and the trans women who take that personal and lash out are the delusional type but know that there are a silent minority who aren’t as loud because we don’t choose to be “activist” we want to live a private soft life and don’t wish to demand things from women and talk down to women (which is a very masculine thing to do), so trans women who behave that way should check themselves. Biological women are the blue print and black women are cultural trendsetters when it comes to beauty and hair and all of that, and any trans woman who doesn’t admit that is insecure and overcompensating. Also being secretly desired by cheating dusties isn’t a badge of honor and I wish my fellow trans sisters would stop wearing it like one, it looks so pathetic and desperate.

Typical MALE misogyny at his finest! That's exactly why I have never went to them to get my hair, makeup, our nails done in my life! I can be friendly and work with them, but I can NEVER be friends with them! I don't like being around MALES that bully WOMEN in no shape, fashion, or form! These are biological males that couldn’t compete with other men, so they want to compete with us and call themselves women. I think not sir. Being a women is more than a dress, makeup hair and heels. It’s being, it’s an energy that can never be replaced. Black women it’s time to shut this down, if these Transwomen want to try to replace well let’s pull out from supporting. Thank you for this content, Chrissy. You’ve summed up in 1 video many questions that I’ve had about this community for years. Knowledge can help us move forward in a meaningful way. **This may be helpful to someone. I decided early on that I would never use “corrected” pronouns. If I see that someone may be in the alphabet community (or they start explaining pronouns), I use their name, exclusively, no pronouns at all. It may not always work, but I’ve never had anyone offended with this tactic.** I'm not against the alphabet community at all, but as groups, we need to talk about the elephant in the room here. The trans person in the video was so defensive, angry, and combative. This is a sign of a deeper issue that cannot be resolved by exterior reconstruction or tough talk. One of the main reasons a person feels the need to conquer and control others is because they don’t possess total self-control and autonomy (disconnected from the essence of who they truly are). I do not have an extensive amount of knowledge about the alphabet community, but my parents were psychology majors, and I was in a long term relationship with a severely mentally ill man, so my Spidey senses go off when I see things like this. Many of these people need help and deep psychological counseling. I’m ashamed of these policies that hurt these people by ignoring their body dysmorphia (and/or other issues) and allow them to make these drastic and permanent physical changes w/ out taking the time to address these mental issues first. I think black women do need to fight back, but not with them. They used politics and the legal system to get this platform. I think we need to organize and do the same (before it's too late).

Girl!!! Your point about not using these pronouns when referring to these transformers stood out to me because for the longest time, I thought I was the only one who just decided to refer to them exclusively by name. 1. Trans people use the word "transphobia" like Black people used the word "racist". Take from that what you will. 2. Black women tend to accept anybody and anything: dating bi men, biracials, trans women, etc. until we look around and find that we have less influence than these groups. 3. I've already heard and seen on KZbin trans women saying that cis women are jealous of them. 4. This is why I do not criticize Naomi Campbell and other Black single celebs who have decided to have non Blacks to be the natural father of their child. There's too much divisiveness and confusion in Blackistan.

Non black started all this confusion. So don't think that you are safer around non blacks.

Chile, as a dark-skinned black woman, I don't put on my cape for any other groups. Period. I'm not the one. I'm not the one who validates or puts preferences on a pedestal or seeks validation form men of any group. As a matter of fact, I try my best to stay away from any self-hating people or people who think they are above me. I'm my own competition and no one is above me. No one will make sure I'm ok but me and I'm only riding with the ones who care about me and want to see me win. So, all this trans talk and having allies with other groups of women or putting on a cape for others, nope, I'm not the one. Carry on though.

Jess was addressing the trans woman on TikTok who made that ridiculous statement that started this mess but some trans women came for her looks. Also, why does Cherry the Boom get to talk so reckless about women but not get called out?

First of all, we need to STOP referring to them as "WOMEN" PERIOD!!!! THEY ARE JUST TRANS!!! The fact that we put the label of "women" anywhere in the name is a problem. These are MEN trying their hardest to be in our space.
