Chrissie where are you going with this? I get many light skinned & mixed women act this way & it should be called out. But in the meantime, you promote DSBW dating non Black men which results typically in light skinned mixed race women if they have kids. Also, while are promoting this, you never point out the fact that many of your subscribers REAL “competition” is yt women & women in other non Black communities who your subscribers want to date (yt Latinas, Asi@n, Middle Eastern, etc). It’s ALWAYS calling out competition with light skinned or biracial (half or partially Black) women who tend to be what y’all call “BM’s preferences”. And ultimately, I think that’s what this is about, many of y’all are focused on LS & B/M women because they are BM’s preferences & deep down they are is still a desire for BM, hence why you & your followers still call them out. The other reason this isn’t called out is because many of these women are not truly dating out. If they were, more would have discussions about how non Black/yt/Asian women are competitive with BW who IR date as well as the issues with it in general. Lastly, DSBW are the same way because guess what? ALL women can be petty, competitive & user friends. Again, I’m not saying to not call out colorism as in this case. You have some good topics, but ultimately I think a lot of your content keeps many DSBW unhappy, bitter deep down inside, paranoid & stuck on the people they claim to not care about. I’m not saying this to be mean, I’m saying this as a critique I hope you will see with some thought because this is extremely counterproductive in the long run.

I like tylas music and stage presence i hope she continues to make her way in the musicindustry. So im not "hating" 🙄. She wasnt wrong for asking But i personally was rubbed wrong with how she went about that exchange saying how weak she is and trying to hand it off to somebody already holding a helmet and another woman, like her, so she can make a 30 sec speech, like you couldnt have held it..really? Just being extra. It wasnt a big deal just annoying. I still like her but it just seems like its always something with her.

I had to come back to this video because a Jewish/Indian girl pretended to like me to get close and then try to claim I owe her money and I drank more that I did and I need to give her money. Just because I got more attention than her when we met. She even pretended she didn’t know I had requested her as a friend on Instagram even though she asked me for my # I’m like...👀 ma’am I gave you the money for my drink before I left and now you want me to Venmo more than half the bill!?Big Miss! 👀👀👀 I’m so over it CHRISSIE!!!😩😩😩

Hey, Chrissie! If you are on the hunt for more unambiguous, dark-skinned, fit, feminine, natural-haired Black woman promotional content, there is a KZbinr called @Kristline who makes YT Shorts with her husband. You should watch the video of her cooking in a hot pink dress -- I instantly thought of your channel when I saw it.

When you said that you've noticed an uptick of black women living vicariously through mixed women it made me wonder if that's why so many black people (and specially women) don't like Tyla (since she says she's not a black woman, but a proud mixed woman).

I can’t relate with this because I’m a black woman and My hair is long and it’s genetics so I don’t really care or get worried or obsessed over Beyoncé‘s long hair cause I’m a chocolate girl and my hair is long too .

I am a black guy from the carribean i always thought black American women have straight hair . Almost everyone one of them on tv had wigs on . I used to think their hair was different from black carribean women i used to teased to girls the girls in my family that black American girls have straight hair and you guys dont. I was around nine years old . I came to my senses when one of the actress was send to prison she had to remove her wig 😅 . I was disappointed all my believes were a myth.

If Tyla is mediocre then so is Tems. Ice Spice and Tyla are nowhere near the same and another unfair comparison. And I thinks it’s unfair to even put out there that she’s a suspected colorist. Y’all (not Chrissie) gonna make me like the girl just based off how much unwarranted hate she’s getting.

The fact that she isn’t calling herself a black woman, she defended a black South African woman that was getting hate, she made a distinction between Afrobeats and her own music. I feel like she hasn’t done anything to warrant being called a colorist.

The Tyla hate is soooo forced. I feel like if a White, Latin, or Asian artist had asked anybody to hold their award, this wouldn’t be a discourse. There is 100% diasporic tension between black Americans and Africans over Tyla, and for Armon Wiggins to call her an “Uppity African” was a little xenophobic to me, I’m sorry, it was. even if I don’t like her, I call it like it is. *Her being “African”isn’t the problem* so why call her an “uppity African”? Why do her actions represent Africa? Why are foreigners “inconsiderate”? It’s giving xenophobia, I’m so sorry, Armon has a blind spot there and he should temper his language. If a white American had called her an “uppity African” they would’ve most definitely been called out for their xenophobic racist comments.
@no.637718 сағат бұрын
Just remember Olivia Rodrigo asked someone to hold her award for her. And there was nothing controversial about it. People are reaching. I'm not even a huge fan of most of her music and I see how gross people are being to her.
@laylor436017 сағат бұрын
I’m noticing you’ve been on like 2 other videos defending tyla, no one has to like her and that’s fine, it doesn’t affect you and it damn sure won’t make any of our lives better. armon has always been an idiot so I don’t take him seriously, so him being dragged is warranted, people always use mixed people to create further division with actual black people especially women
@chayo453713 сағат бұрын
Who givss a damn a white people?! 😂 why are you making it about them and people wouldn't say shit to white people hecause they already speak worse behind closed doors
@nameisamineСағат бұрын
@@laylor4360 I’m enjoying the discourse but blind spot here _is_ the xenophobia, and I think some black Americans struggle with that conversation bc it puts them in the position of being the bigots and oppressors rather than the oppressed. I have noticed xenophobic bullying from Black Americans towards Tyla but I guess I’m an ‘uppity African’ myself for wanting to start a conversation about it? People are free to dislike, or even hate her, it’s their life, but leave her being “African” out of it, bc that’s when it starts leaning into xenophobia.

Mellody Hobson is the best example for BW who aren't entertainers or artist. She has had many WM & BM mentors and mutually beneficial working relationships; came up in a field dominated by men; used her intelligence to become a self made millionaire And on the love life side, she's dark skinned, short hair, and married one of the most famous billionaires on the planet Stop *only* looking to women in the entertainment industry for strategy, especially since they get to operate by different rules than everyday/normal people. There are many successful BW influencers who are older (45+), sharing their lives and thus revealing strategy and steps you can replicate!

Devils advocate, I’m a creamy crack woman, I wear a pixie cut and yes I understand how unsafe relaxers are however, a lot of natural women try to bully us relaxers into having natural hair. So I believe it to be the same as far as not following the crowd and being bullied or preached into having natural hair.

Yes. BW definitely don’t follow the crowd. A few weeks ago affirmative action ending was a major talking point and “boost” in attendance to HBCUs. I noticed in the comment sections the theme was keeping black students at HBCUs mainly because they wanted to limit them to staying in the black community. It was disappointing to see the selfishness we display. The majority of the students attending these colleges are BW. BW move carefully there’s a lot of people working to keep you in a box.
