I had to laugh out loud in shock when he said "investing 700 per month in his dream", and I'm not even black. I bet he expects the woman do all the housework, child birthing, child care, wifey "duties" alongside investing financially in him. Absolutely ridiculous.

She also didn't mention "he works so I can enjoy", enjoy what? Domestic labour? Child birthing? Child care? No time for hobbies, workout, etc? AND contributing financially on top? Lol

I wish I were high vibrational enough to connect to your recent videos but I just love how nuanced and solution focused (as an INFJ) your videos have become even though I’ve fallen off. Love your channel and will always continue to support. Happy new years Chrissie xoxo

I love listening to you, even if a lot of what you say doesn't directly apply. As in, I've always dated out due to growing up in a place where there was a 50/50 chance that every Black person I met there was related to me. So to lower the chances (but they weren't zero, due to having a mixed family), I exclusively dated white boys and girls. And I'd say 90% of the people I've dated have been higher earning than me. I'd also say I've benefited from pretty privilege, am used to being the only dsbw in a space, and have been natural for over a decade. So, it's as though your message reached me in childhood. Still, your points feel so true and relevant, and I just love hearing you talk. 😅 Thank you for these messages. Sometimes, I send these videos to my nieces in the hopes that you'll influence them.

Some dark skin people love saying light skin people aren’t black but then get big mad when light skin people say they are caramel and not chocolate, like did u forget all the hate they been receiving from both black & white because they are biracial, and now u are mad because they are embracing themselves 🫠🙃 please make it make sense,.

Chrissie, you sound so much like me when you got to the INTJ personality part. I am INFP, but I am so similar to you in terms of preferring solitude, and yet being very social (will explain more). I honestly feel heard and seen for the first time in years. As much as I love being around my friends and I genuinely enjoy social interactions, I am at my core an introvert and need a lot of time to recharge. Like you, I love my solitude soooo much that at some point, I genuinely thought there was something wrong with me. I tell people all the time - I can go months without seeing my friends or other humans and I would be fine. But society has forced me to be even more social than I want to be. It's been very rewarding, but also extremely exhausting. This is going to sound wild, but I recently listened to your "how to level up" video (maybe on the other channel), and you mentioned moving to the other side of town. I am in the process of moving to another state. I think I have worked myself into a place where my level up journey is being hindered by the people I am surrounded by. I know exactly what you're talking about when you say people constantly want to be around you and talk to you. I've attracted extremely extroverted (and sometimes extremely needy) friends and I feel like I am constantly distracted and don't have as much time to recharge, focus on my own goals, or really just enjoy my alone time like I used to. Anyway, just wanted to say thank you for sharing that. Introverts are very misunderstood, and forums like Reddit don't help because unfortunately it's mostly the introverts who are suffering and not living full lives and loving themselves, that usually post on there (which is fine, I get that Reddit obviously attracts those who have a ton of time on their hands).

This reminds me so much of a certain KZbinr well known for pink femininity, who went out if her way to help and promote a Eurotrash WW. Both women were trying to promote upscale lifestyles for women. Then the WW allegedly stabbed her in the back .

This lady has no idea what she's talking about. Men with a stay at home wife have infinitely more free time than men with full time working wives, or even single men. A stay at home wife can get the lion's share of chores/bill paying/cooking/planning done, so the family can relax together after the work day. The couples I know with kids who both work full time have no free time at all. Both get home exhausted and then have to put in a second shift doing laundry, cooking, cleaning, and catching up on all the kid stuff. Obviously most people can't afford the luxury of a stay at home spouse these days, they need two incomes to even pay for housing, so they do what they need to do. Or in rare cases both husband and wife are extremely successful and enjoy their careers. This is the exception though, most people work dull jobs just because they have to.

I believe these 50/50 women are lying to themselves. The only ones I believe are the ones that were financially, verbally, and/or physically abused by their exes OR that saw their family member go through it. I’ll still work but my man will be paying the bills.

Our women need to stop whoring themselves and actually take these values seriously. We are supposed to be serving and home making, society taught us otherwise (to our detriment).

I agree. I've been a fan of Wicked since 2004 when I was a teenager. When the first Black woman played Elphaba onstage I felt weird about it but didn't have the language for it. I think this is pretty much it... I know why casting a Black woman is attempting to "say something" about the state of race in America, but it unfortunately does reify the very issues and representation we'd rather not bolster. Great analysis!

Yes Chrissie, amazing review on optics. I watched the trailer for Wicked and I remembered that the original movie and Elphaba was called the wicked witch of the west so with that in mind, along with length of the movie it was hard and clear NO 😂I may watch later on but I agree with you completely. And due to what I know about the original film “wizard of oz” which was so iconic for Genx, boomers & maybe Genz that Wicked’s characters. Not paying for Bad optics of black people. What is your best film with or for black character optics?
