A major-studio movie (let alone a prequel) that actually finally managed to capture the essence of 1970’s horror.. it was excellent. Nell Tiger Free’s performance is so raw & human & goes through every spectrum of emotion. I even liked the more subtle sequences like her at the bar coming out of her shell.

It's such a great film. Really hoping it gains more traction and a possible sequel is made to it tying in the Jackal corpse and the new plot twist at the end of this one.

If you read about the accidents that occurred during that filming of the original , the name then seems perfect for the film .

Hahaha I know exactly what your talking about lol. There was a pregnant woman near me and during movie she walked out for few minutes during the part where skeleton baby hand popped out and then birth scene at end hahahaha her partner definitely chose wrong movie for her haha
