Chris, if you notice on the final pull, up top it was knocking. You can see the puffs of smoke indicating detonation. Definitely lower the boost or have a degree taken out.

I’d keep the silver wheels, once you clean the engine bay and polish the blower and the tanks, I think sonic blue would look great on the intake pipe and tie in with the ford emblem on the grill. Badass truck man! Love this lightning series!

That thing is awesome. As far as the wheels I honestly like the black ones but the silver just give it that back in the day look. You had me rolling when you said the fuel mileage is around 12 mpg and not great. haha I'd love to see 12 mpg with my 03 f250 6.8 v10 and I'm fully stock.....I wish the one company that made superchargers for the v10 still did. 12 mpg ain't bad at all for 600 hp and 20 lbs of boost. I could just imagine how much fun that truck is to drive.

My 2004 fully built SRT 10 with forged crank and pistons and lots of other parts Dynoed at 880 horsepower at the rear wheels. It was a 6 speed and I moved to Florida and the traffic is horrible so I sold it for a new ZL1 Camaro. If I were still in Massachusetts I would have kept it.

Hey Chris, I own a 2003 F150 Harley Davidson 100th Anniversary with 2.6 Kenne Bell supercharger 18 PSI boost all custom built all forged parts ARP bolts / studs Shelby GT 500 iron block, CNC 'd Trick Flow heads oversized valves out here in California running 91 octane gas, my dyno tuner guy said he only maxed out engine timing to run with 91 octane gas at 18 PSI and that my engine knock sensor was all dialed into this range to prevent detonation and blow up the motor... So before you go to less boost larger size KB pullies talk to your Dyno Tune Guy ask him if at 20 PSI he dialed in the right max timing so as not to have any knock issues using 93 octane pump gas, cause any Tuner worth their pay grade would do that to protect your motor.

That AC Delco supercharger oil is a great value. That's what I use in my supercharged Audis. I've been looking at Spintech mini mufflers for my S4. They're super compact and you can order them in SS.

Look into Varex for mufflers. They make the kind with valves so you can have them be mufflers that quiet it down or open where they're straight through. You'll likely need to fab something up but not a huge deal. I think I have a video on my channel if you want to hear something. 👍

I know that a loud exhaust can be a little irritating but I’d leave it alone. Just like our Corvettes, you spend the money on cams and headers and you want to hear them. Great build brother. BTW-Nitto NT555 G2s give amazing traction in my 580 shell hp Corvette.

I’m in the minority and I acknowledge that, but I have never heard a corsa exhaust that I didn’t find painfully loud. Having said that, resonated X pipes are a convenient way to add some muffling to an overzealous exhaust. Room is definitely a problem on the lightnings though. I’d just replace those “mufflers” with actual mufflers. When I drive my lotus on the highways I wear noise cancelling AirPods. But it gets maybe 1-2k a year on it.
