RuPaul is really is such a beautiful person inside. It is that beauty that shines through on the outside and makes him so amazing. I'm amazed at how he is always so genuinely interested in what they have to say. Notice how him and Christy are just sitting there and just talking to himself like they are alone in that place.

This conversation on grief is so so important to me right now. I've been struggling with severe depression the last few weeks. I'm 29 years old. Last year in July my mother passed at 56 in front of my eyes. She was my best friend as well as my mom. I also lost the love of my life at 22 years old. She was really the only one there for me every day through my grief. After she passed I had to be the matriarch so to speak. I took in my older brother and older sister as they didn't really have anywhere to go. Now almost a year later things are calming down and it's really starting to hit me that she's not coming back. Like Michelle I know my mom's spirit is always with me because she shows me. I needed to hear this conversation. Thank you RuPaul for bringing light to a subject that many people fear.

When they showed a snippet of Mark Easton’s speech, I started crying. So beautiful and brave. Incredible courage. As a lesbian from an ultra religious family (my dad disowned me and the last words he’s said to me so far are “you’re going to burn in Hell”) I appreciate the absolute courage it took for him to do this on such a public stage and then to live with whatever came from it. Mr. Fisher who took his own life is a tragic example of what a kid coming out in a religious environment and background actually face when they come out and more so having to LIVE out after coming out. It really is horrible and you feel so much guilt and fear, it’s really hard for people not in those circumstances to understand just how bad it is. If you get the chance to send some love to someone who is feeling alienated and alone, please do it. It could mean the difference between life and loss of life. You just never know. Love ❤️ and Hugs....

Bereavement leave ISN'T ENOUGH (at least in the US). By odd coincidence when one of my little brothers passed away I happened to be going on vacation the week after he passed. They gave me from the day of his death to the end of my scheduled vacation (which I think was a little over 2 weeks) if I hadn't had the vacation scheduled already, I honestly don't know how long they would have given me off but really its not a vacation when you are grieving the most intense grief yet. His death triggered chronic depression which also triggered fibromyalgia and other chronic pain conditions. In 2007 (when I just turned 27) not only had I been grieving all year, he passed in January & my b-day is in November, but this fibromyalgia diagnosis was FRUSTRATING. Half the doctors I encountered until about 3 years ago didn't even BELIEVE in it. I was profiled as a "drug seeker" as I sought treatment because of how I look. When all I was trying to do was find a way to not be in agony, be able to sleep and heal at night, be able to work my job without feeling like everyday was the worst day of my life. Every other "treatment" they gave me except the sleep aids & antidepressants, didn't help. What was funny was I knew a couple people twice my age with it who were handed pain killers hand over fist without question and some of them truly were drug seekers. Unfortunately pain killers were one of the only things that helped with fibro, degenerative disc disease in my lower spine & arthritis, Adjusting to it over time has been my main treatment for dealing with it. I've been in and out of multiple types of pain management (even ones that didn't prescribe pain meds), off and on a ton of different medications , and a primary care doctor who decided he was just not going to prescribe pain medications to ANYONE anymore. I got incredibly tired of getting shuffled around, treated like a criminal. I decided to take time off from dealing with doctors. I haven't been in for 1 1/2 years. I ended up having a disc rupture in my spine where the degenerative disc Disease/arthritis is. Had to have spine surgery at age 34 after they misdiagnosed me for 3 months straight I ended up with permanent nerve damage from it which they also don't want to treat. Grief is weird and I've lost someone every year since my brother passed in 2007 one thing is I'm getting a bit better at dealing with death, but...its still awful and more people need to be compassionate about it ESPECIALLY jobs.
