On her Wikipedia page it says 'Brandy' was created 7 months after she was discovered/signed in 1993. Stating it was released in 1994. The Boy is Mine came out June 1998. She was born Feb of 79-- so in 94 she'd have been 15, then in 1998 she'd have been 19. She's a little over a year and 1/2 older than me, even though I was born in 1980, it wasn't until November nearly the end of the year lol! Maybe she's just relating the whirlwind she experienced of being like 14 & discovered put through the old record company paces and churning out work. Pretty massive success. She's still just as gorgeous as ever too!

I’m in love with the show. I grew up listening to Monica. I thought I could blow just like her ( I can NOT I can hold a tune that’s bout it)and was gonna be famous. My daughter came in while I was watching and asked who that lady was and I had to pause and take her down memory lane. However she knew exactly who RuPaul was because before my mom passed she would watch RuPaul’s Drag race with her granny all the time. This was my first time seeing Ryan but he’s awesome and I can’t wait to check out his show. I hope this show gets picked up I’m already a fan.

I've felt since Breaking Bad that Cerebral palsy was finally being brought into the light & discussion more. I grew up with a brother with very severe cerebral palsy, but he also had hydrocephalus, holoprosencephaly. He was a spastic quadriplegic. Sadly he passed in 2007, but we were told since he was born he wouldn't live to be a year old and just about evey year we were told he would die, he was almost 23 years old. It was hard growing up with someone that most people couldn't understand and feared talking about quite honestly. So it's really refreshing to see it conquered comedically and everything. 💖
