I gotta be honest...L.C's chicken pot pie made me cringe. The consistency of the "sauce" looked so thin that it looked like broth while Chrissy's sauce was the way it should be. In the end, this just proves that you shouldn't try to make classic comfort food, healthy and that nothing beats cream, butter and a good pot pie.

Here's the thing if we were cooking like our grandparents did in the 50s and 60s we'd be healthier. Their food didn't have the added chemicals, processed shit, etc in them they do today. And, let's be real, they didn't have all of the fast food either. Fast food was considered a treat.

I made a pot pie like LC’s just with a thicker consistency and more seasoning lol and it was really good. As someone who loves pot pie but is lactose intolerant a dairy free version like LC’s can still hit the spot if done well!

One it’s clearly a soup and the other as a pie and looking at the ingredients I like Chrissy I can’t believe I’m saying that, and the other is quite healthier. I can’t believe she used him when the main ingredient is chicken that’s why it’s called chicken pot pie not ham and chicken pot soup with vegetables. I would choose Lauren’s over Chrissys any day because of the heavy ingredients that Chrissy uses
