What's one habit you have that keeps Christ at the center of your morning routine? This is the first video in my series where I share Christ-centered habits that will focus on a specific aspect in our roles as Christian homemakers. 🤎I pray this video series blesses you and brings you closer to Jesus.

My daughter and I do a bible study at her snack time. I read a pray over us, devotional, read from bible, and 2 devotional short bible videos. We call it our mornings with Jesus after one of the devotionals😊

Thank you for the beautiful video sis. I’ve stepped away from teaching this year to be a sahm and be more present for my kids. It has been overwhelming this new transition but God has been teaching me to change my mindset about homemaking and to slow down. I really appreciate your Chanel and your sincere heart for helping other mamas. I am going to try waking up an hour before my kids. I start cooking dinner while making breakfast it’s when both kids are calm and happy. It’s also so hot in Australia that cooking in the afternoon during summer is not suitable. After dinner we also go on family walks around 8pm when it’s the coolest and I absolutely love the time we get to spend. A few nights in a row my eldest made a comment on how beautiful the colours in the sky was. It makes us so appreciative for Gods creation.

I look forward to your videos each time you post! Thank you for sharing your heart and also keeping it centered around scripture. I would love a future video about multitasking in homemaking like you mentioned. I’m trying to prioritize Bible study, spending quality time with kids, and overall health (food, fitness, hydration). Happy new year 💕

I’m pregnant with my fourth. We thought we were done at 3, I was excited to “move on with life” but with another coming, I’m finding that God has been asking me to really press in to motherhood like I never have before. Waking up before my kids is a tip I’ve always rolled my eyes at but has *actually* been a game changer. I’m so appreciative of content like this, it’s really encouraging when I lose sight of it all. Which I do too often 😅💖

Congratulations!! When are you due if I may ask? 🤗 I can imagine what a shock that was for you both. It's a beautiful thing that the Lord renewed your mind on family and surrendering motherhood to Him 🥹😭 And yes, it feels so cliche but every time I prioritize waking up early before my kids, I'm so much more at peace and feel like my day goes better. Thank you so much for your support and sharing your heart with me today!

@@mrsdaisymama you channel is really encouraging! Thank you so much! I am a mother of 2. One toddler and other just two months old...i frequently wake up at night multiple times for both of them and it's really challenging for me to wake up early. What to do in such situations? Also wanted to ask you if you have anyone as house help to help you with your chores ? Did that work for you?

I found that being on my phone or watching tv after my daughter went down for bed, hinders my sleep pretty bad. But when I just read some scripture and meditate on what I just read, I fall asleep quickly and feel better in the morning. I still struggle with going to sleep earlier enough bc I can’t help but feel like after my husband and child are in bed asleep I can finally have some “me time”. Using face masks or under eye patches while watching a show or listening to a podcast. Thinking about what needs to be done the next day. Wanting to do these things for myself is what keeps me up late, next thing I know it’s midnight already. I realize now that these are all things I can be doing in the morning instead. We all need time for ourselves, but it matters more what time of day we spend for ourselves so that it doesn’t cause more bad than good for us and our families.

I enjoy your videos. Thank you. And..you look really pretty today. God bless you and your family. Top 3 priorities: Gym and bible study, keep my schedule (cleaning and learning time (homeschool)) and learning something that day. I research or listen to bible study or a topic that comes to mind like fasting, sewing, anything that comes up really….while cooking cleaning, etc. I am always trying to learn finance and ways to save $ also. Getting to bed at a reasonable time, I would stay off the phone and read instead. If you have a kindle that works great without interrupting your husband if he is asleep. Also would like to add that I sleep for a couple hours then go to the gym for an hour then read and study the Bible until I am tired and go to sleep and wake up when my daughter wakes up. It’s an odd schedule but has worked so well since my day is centered around my child. Hope this can encourage someone. I know it’s not for everyone.

Thank you so much for the sweet compliment, Lynn! 🥰 Those are AMAZING priorities! I've recently started to prioritize exercise at home into my routine, usually once the kids are asleep for the night. I totally agree on learning tips or skills while doing our homemaking, it's a great way to multitask! I LOVE that you have found a unique schedule that works for you and your family! 👏

It really is such an insightful book!! I am reading it with a friend and sharing our responses to the reflection questions with each other. It's been great accountability. Did you feel the book left a lasting impact on your relationship with food? YAY I'm so excited to make our Mondays more Christ-centered together! 🥰🙌

Thank you Daisy. Have you ever coSnider’s creating a private community, maybe even a subscription community where Christian homemakers, wives and mothers can fellowship together? I have a 4 yr and a 19 month-old. I really want to focus on my ministry as a mother and homemaker and I would love to be part of something with others on the same journey, if you ever decide to do so ❤
