@@onlyoneway8741 much of what we do on this earth as Christians is a daily fight. It is truly a battleground here on earth, and pulling out of deep depression by looking to Jesus looks so good for you, but also makes Christianity and Jesus look awesome to those around you. "Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God." ---Hebrews 12:1-2

Smartness is important in a relationship and cyberhackinggenius helped cloned my husband’s phone and I got access to all his dealings both on phone and social media without touching his phone. All I did was share my husband’s phone number with cyberhackinggenius and I was able to read both his new and deleted messages from my phone without having to touch his phone. My husband was a cheating Narcissist and I’m glad to find out all his secrets and infidelity with the help of cyberhackinggenius. I’m here in UK and able to access my husband’s phone messages with a link on my phone even while he was away in Canada cheating on me. I got to discover that my husband who is legally married to me here in UK is also recently married to another woman in Canada and I’m finally going through a divorce with lots of evidence against him. I read all his Whatsapp, Facebook,Skype,Instagram and Snapchat messages Including the deleted text and recent messages. You can contact this great Hacker Gavin via Gmail (cyberhackinggenius) or text and speak to him directly on his phone and WhatsApp : +19256795146 and don’t forget to thank me later.

I get what you're saying 100%. I also feel like for quite a while i proclaimed with my mouth that I had surrendered that part of my life to God but I had never really believed it in my heart. It's only til recently that i think I've now made an informed decision about leaving my future to God. I also do my best to avoid thinking about it (but you know how the human mind is! hehe),

@ M MMMicheni This is so silly and so irrelevant. The full contentment in a relationship with Christ is for the soul but marriage is for the BODY . Chandler and co are unable to rightly divide the flesh and the spirit . But those clowns have studied theology lol God made marriage for SEX and reproduction. David said to the Lord "My SOUL thirsts for God , the living God " Psalm 42:2 The needs of the body like sex is totally different and CANNOT be fulfilled by the Lord . That's why he created the woman for the man's sake.

Thank you guys so much for liking and supporting me in this! I am in a relationship right now with a Christian guy, and in the beginning we set God as our foundation of our relationship. Sometimes we fall off path together, but one usually puts the other in check. It can get really difficult, but love is persistent. Please pray that we are not blind fools. Please pray that my relationship is full of Christ and purity, so that we may mature as individual followers of God and as a Christ centered couple. Thank you again!

Thank you, Francis and Lisa Chan, for bringing me back to the reality that God is a GREAT BIG God who is above all other human relationships, including marriage. God is still our Father even if earthly parents abandon us. Our human relationships with others (spouses, children, parents and others) may fail, but God will work immeasurably more in our lives if we allow Him.

Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken. With Jesus at the center of a marriage and both people seeking God's agape love for each other, that is a Christ centered home.

25:25 really make me think about why i am truly seeking a spouse. I didn't want to believe i was attempting to fill a void in my life, that i just have a healthy desire for marriage. But I asked myself "could I truly find happiness in my singleness? Is Christ giving me the sense of contentment?" The answer I came to was sadly "no". I am having to learn to seek contentment in Jesus and then maybe God will bless me with a loving Christ-centered wife. I'm learning that if I don't allow God to fulfill this need for an intimate relationship in my life, then nobody will be able to.

Praise the lord this women has really understand what it is to love God with all her heart and that the only way we can love our husband without God love in our heart we cant love someone else.....or greatest enemy is Self once we overcome self we will love God and love others easyly
@aksajose
@aksajose 7 жыл бұрын
Marie Savannah but in order to overcome self, one has to love one self and know that you know that you know your true worth, that you are loved and cherished and God has a unique personalized plan for you... once you know that "self" can and will be cared for from above, then you are free to deny yourself for another human being, ie spouse... this is what most people lacks, a confidence that they are worth and they don't have to attempt to find it from another human being who will never be the source of their worth... once you understand that, that's when you can be selfless in your dealing with others... many men and women however are hurt and have been in situations where they think their worth was ripped off them... unfortunately.... that's the first reason and a leading cause why many marriages fail...

" Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world." Christ centered is good yet Christ obsessed, Christ essential, Christ truly as Lord of all including our marriages! Marriage was designed and created to reveal Christ not me or us!

I’m a cradle Catholic, but I had never heard anyone mentioned a personal relationship with Jesus until after I turned 64. I first heard of this idea during a bible studying session, when one non-Catholic Christian said: “It doesn’t matter what church you belong to; your personal relationship with Jesus is all that is important.” I didn’t agree for I was taught that there is no salvation outside the Catholic Church, but not knowing what to say, I remained silent. I thought: Wow! What’s a good way to keep people away from church. I quickly forgot about this idea, but a few weeks later, I heard the same expression, this time from a practicing Catholic. Again, I didn’t agree nor did I know what to say; I brushed off the idea as no more than an attempt to be politically correct. I didn’t think about this idea afterward, but then, it hit me one day when a priest told the same group, myself included, that until recently, he didn’t know that our relationship with Jesus is so important. Well! I was perplexed, but at least he didn’t say, it doesn’t matter what church you belong to, I thought. I pondered upon what he said, and decided to check it out. And, behold, here’s what I found, Catechism of the Catholic Church, paragraphs 299, 796, 1309: (299) Because God creates through wisdom, his creation is ordered: "You have arranged all things by measure and number and weight."151 The universe, created in and by the eternal Word, the "image of the invisible God", is destined for and addressed to man, himself created in the "image of God" and called to a personal relationship with God.152 (796) The unity of Christ and the Church, head and members of one Body, also implies the distinction of the two within a personal relationship. (1039) In the presence of Christ, who is Truth itself, the truth of each man's relationship with God will be laid bare.624 (See CCC for full text and foot notes 151, 152,and 624) Wow! I had no idea that calling to a personal relationship with God is the teaching of the Catholic Church. But here it is. Written down in black and white. So I accept, I believe, and I submit myself to the teaching of the Catholic Church. Now, knowing that a personal relationship with Jesus is important, I asked myself, “What is my personal relationship with Jesus? Is it a hi-and-bye relationship, or is it a close one? ” I know my personal relationship with Jesus is better than just hi-and-bye, but I can’t quantify it. I wondered if spending one hour weekly with Jesus in Eucharistic Adoration, or celebrating His life, death, and resurrection in the Holy Mass indicative of a close relationship. I don’t know what I ought to do to foster a personal relationship with Jesus, but I do know what Jesus wants me to do to have the closest, the most intimate personal relationship with Him. He wants me to eat His flesh and drink His blood so that I can remain in Him and He in me. He said: Jn 6: 56, “Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him.” Can any relationship be more personal, more intimate, or closer than to be in each other? So to the friends who told me about a personal relationship with Jesus, I thank you. I apologize for considering your good words as a way to keep people away from church, and as an attempt to be politically correct. I now believe that a personal relationship with Jesus is all that is important, but, my friends, if you want to have a close personal relationship with Jesus, close enough to remain in Him and He in you; it does matter what church you belong to.

Its good to hear these thoughts, more than that teaching of Christ are really matter! I finish with this Ephesians 5:25. There is nothing more than this scripture. Marriage is the institution created by God for sacrificing self if not gifted with celibacy. You can't compare your love for God and to man or woman! Remember God loves you more than you love Him and I believe no one is wiser than Jesus!

This time we have on earth is short. Our days are numbered so we don't have time to agrue. We don't have time to be depressed and mad. God is bigger than our marriage. It's all about God and the purpose or mission God has for us. We as women are to be so satisfied in God that our husband's shortcomings doesn't affect us.( we don't have time to be high maintenance) You should find your contentment in God. Set your mind on things above for you died...God will use marriage to refine us and display to the world his glory. We need to be concerned with making Jesus famous! FOCUS our undivided devotion to the Lord no matter what situation you're in. The more inward focus you are the more miserable you'll become. We can't fill our life with the things of the world and honor God.

I love Francis Chan's messages. I think what is important though in regards to marriage is first laying down a foundation of what IS marriage in the eyes of Christ.Jeuss says "whosoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery and whosoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery." Lk 16:16-18 (see Rom 7:2-3, I Cor.7:39). If many are in reality joined with OTHER'S spouses in God's eyes, we can do all Francis teaches and STILL be displeasing to the Lord.

I have not listened to the whole sermon yet but being raised by a pastor I know that I did not like the idea that he was all over the place but not with us because or 'God's will'. I am a christian, by grace, but I still believe that every pastor should make time for family. As a child, feeling as though other people (church members) are more important than you are to your own father makes it difficult for you to understand how God operates. It becomes even worse when the family is struggling financially. I am not too sure where I will be in the next couple of years, but marrying a pastor is not such an inviting thought for me...if he becomes a pastor along the way...oh well...God is in control.

How do you keep that from happening and still as a family reach others who need help.

God allows our experiences to help build our total dependence on Him as your father. This will help you not to get bitter through your experiences but better because when you remain bitter, you are more likely to repeat the same mistake even when you never liked what was done to u. I am in no way excusing your parents because your children should be your first disciples & we must consciously devout time in the midst of a tight schedule to show the love of Christ first to our family. Let Jesus bridge the gap in your life

Wondering how you are doing. My pastor is led by the Spirit of God. One outcome being is that he refused to be at the beck and call of his church. He and his wife didn't even want their children to be under the pressure of being known as the pastor's kids and they didn't even take their kids to church. Mainly, because it's the responsibility of parents to teach their children the life of faith. Not a Sunday school teacher. So, we didn't have Sunday school for kids either. 2 of their 3 children are now saved serving God with their spouses.

I absolutely love this. Life is service. To take ourself out of the center, and put God in. I pray that all of those who experience domestic abuse and mental illness in their relationship recognize that God desires more for them. That once all avenues have been exhausted to preserve the relationship, and circumstances are still dangerous and toxic, that both parties will recognize that God wants them to heal, even if it means through separating. All circumstances are there to bring us closer to God.

But the most wonderful thing is that the more I challenge what I believe, the more that God shows up in my life. I used to believe that the Bible was just a book, until I started checking it with reality. If you gave it a go, I bet you would find something. I guarantee it!:)

I've just been introduced to Bro. Chan. This is the first video that I watched of him and I am taken aback that he and his wife are speaking about how to love God and each other. They also include singles. Wow! I am impressed.

I need friends like them in my life so we can love and praise God together. It seems the more I take part in Christs sufferings I lose people in my life or they become stand offish. And I love the fact its happening in my life but I hate that they wont attempt to seek the Lord. and listening to Francis is just encouraging to me and I agree in my own heart because i feel the same way about every message he teaches. Im almost jealous, i need friends like them.

And you're right, today's culture really knows nearly nothing of what real marriage is. The question is if you want to agree with this culture or if you want to do something extraordinary in your relationships that beats all the statistics and do it with God in the middle of it. He's the author of love and brings unimaginable sweetness to these things in us.

"The more inward you focus on yourself, the more miserable your going to be." I love the oxygen tank illustration, about what we have our tank filled with, and what's in it to get us through. What are we filling our tank with that gives us life ? And what kind of life?

Well, Father has my purpose in His Own time line. The idea that us who've lived over 70 years need to be more concerned with the end of life is NOT according to Father, simply because, so far as I am aware, NO ONR knows their time. so, Everyone must be focused on THE END!

This is the perfect model marriage. Everything they say is true... And though it's probably difficult to accept, it's the truth! We need to look forward to meeting Jesus.. we are complete in Him. We can't expect our relationships to fill the void God put in us that only He can fill.

I love this video. As someone who was always placed getting married as the "end all, be all, i'll be happy when i'm married" type of thing, i needed to hear this. marriage is definitely an idol for me and i need to realize it's NOT gonna make me totally fulfilled. only god can do that. HE needs to be my first love. Once again, another amazing sermon by Francis.

I had the idea that marriage is temporary in mind when I wrote my own vows in Nov. 2002 and said to my bride that I would always love her. While she was saddened by the thought that we would not be married in heaven she agreed that it is true and was pleased that my love for her would continue even after we were both there. Today we both know this to be true more than ever because she died in Dec. 2016.

I have been struggling with singleness for my 25 years on this earth. I do believe that God has put a desire for marriage in my heart, but I have just made the decision that His kingdom comes first in my life. I'm currently struggling in my first ever relationship, but now I have peace. I don't know if this girl is the one God has for me, but I DO know that I am where I need to be, serving His people and reaching the lost.

If there is no one who interests you within the congregation and you are looking elsewhere then stand firm in your belief and be proud of who you are. There may be many times where temptation crosses your path but if you are secure in your beliefs then you should be able to handle any situation that arises.

Thank you Matthew. I followed your conversation with Daniel and you were very patient with him but consistent with God's truth. I love it that you acknowledged that his homosexuality is not necessarily a more grave offense before God than your own sins, but that one who loves God can not embrace any sin whether it be homosexuality or adultery or gluttony, etcetera. A true christian aims at the full holiness of God, and we all ought to strive for that

My life was dull and grey before I met god. I would smoke weed and play video games and couldnt find it in me to believe in such nonsense. I was just like you. I had anger in my heart which you are clearly portraying. I am now just so happy. My life is bright and I have vitality. The happier and more vitality I get in my life the more I love god and the more I love god the happier I get. Looking back at who I was before I finally accepted God and who I am now is living proof! I'm saying that we're hypocrites through sin not that we want to sin but that its the human element. It's through grace that we're saved through the blood of Jesus Christ. ROMANS 7:19 "For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do--this I keep on doing." The apostle Paul understood this, and by saying it didn't consider it a justification for his sin but his understanding of the fall of man.

I agree. It's hard for us singles. The world-and the church-are not kind to us. There's a lot of misguidance from a young age; from fairy tales to Hollywood. But watching this reminds me of the advantages of being single. Rather than get a rude awakening IN marriage, we can manage our expectations before hand. It's hard. I would like to be fulfilled only in God. The problem is we often don't know how. This is a balanced teaching and as Pastor Francis said, not a common approach. I wish it was.

Time is short. My relative spent a wad of money on an extension to his house because he could. Finally, the work was completed. Very classy. He got home from work and decided to enjoy the finished results. To quote him: I'd 30 minutes to enjoy it, then I had a heart attack. In his fifties. He survived.

the image of God is representing the Love and Mercy that God overflows His Christ followers with. God is actually one, but is omniscient making it possible for Him to be 3 separate entities. but its actually ONE, "I am who I am".
