Thanks to Brett, I am watching your videos this morning and find the first two to be excellent. I had a friendship with a woman who believed in keeping the dietary laws and building her Sukkot for instance, but then she had divorced and remarried though divorced again. I told her that she was still married to her first husband, and she attacked me for eating crab. I ended the relationship when the Lord told me to. The Holy Spirit told me she was a Judiazer.

do you happen to know what scripture says in Exo_31:13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you.

Could you expound on that comment?

GodismyJudge - simply put, to understand the change in the law, we have to understand the priesthoods. The law was changed on the basis of the priesthood being changed as primary. The details of this gives great clarity to how we are to be a lawful people under grace. The Acts 15 counsel knew this and is why they only wrote a few weighty things. They said that “from ancient times, in ever city, Moses is read...” In other words, gentiles will hear the wisdom of the whole law. Ezekiel 36:25-26

@@davidleebrown3956 Don't you think they should look at the teachings of the New Priest to understand how to practice the law?

GodismyJudge - no doubt. Especially since He’s the goal of the Law.

@@davidleebrown3956 It seems like what you are saying is that Acts 15 just gave some important points, but the gentiles should still look into the law of Moses for more details. So, I guess the question is why should they go back to the law of Moses, when Jesus give us the law in its fullness? How would you reconcile the Law of Moses and Jesus' treatment of dietary laws and resting from work on the Sabbath?

Could it be it is not LAWS THAT HAVE CHANGE BUT THE PLACEMENT Heb 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: The Jews added to father law . Christianity have taken away from them. The 7th day sabbath, feast days.high sabbath. and food laws. still remain.

Well thats not true the law about animals sacifices is no more...Heb_10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; ..Heb_10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, And they really both have added and taken away and mix unholy thing with what is holy .

Rev_18:23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. Rev_19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. Rev_20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

γινομαι is often seen in the NT in the simple past tense, 3rd person to mean "it happened..." or "it came to pass..." as *εγενετο*
