Hello. I think one of the best illustrations of money is what happened to the rich young ruler. He wanted to follow Jesus, and Jesus told him to sell everything he had and follow him. While many scoff at the idea of leaving everything, I have reason to believe it was normal in Christianity. Even right after the the rich Young Ruler left, Peter said WE ALL have left everything to follow you. So every disciple, which according to Paul means Christian, left everything to follow Jesus. And this continued after Jesus's death in the book of Acts (Acts 2:44 and 4:32-44), and there are obviously other verses too. But that was just a couple main ones. So if anyone is listening, please consider forsaking all (Luke 14:33) for Christ, selling your possessions (Luke 12:33), and going around the world to preach the Gospel. Don't be worried about food and clothes, for God shall provide for you if you seek Him first (Matthew 6:25-33). He is the provider.

Amen brother! God bless you! It’s a real challenge for us to see this glorious truth of the Gospel of Christ when our heart is on glory of the world. I know it would have been difficult for me to see when just about every “Christian” lives and taught that we can live a luxurious life. Both deceiving and being deceived… I find that the KJV and most translations obscure luxury I found these with young’s- and confirmed them in Greek. (There are more) 1Timothy 5:5-6 (YLT) 5 And she who is really a widow and desolate, hath hoped upon God, and doth remain in the supplications and in the prayers night and day, 6 and she who is given to luxury, living -- hath died;… 2Pet2:13(YLT)13 about to receive a reward of unrighteousness, pleasures counting the luxury in the day, spots and blemishes, luxuriating in their deceits, feasting with you, The reality is that Jesus said Blessed are the poor and the Poor in Spirit - those who heart isn’t on their possessions (even those needed). This is a sharp contrast to his words to the rich - Woe! -Someone whose heart is on their possessions is spiritually dead even while they live. - “And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. And all that believed were together, and had all things common; and sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.” Acts 2:43-47 KJV -That’s what a full gospel church looks like!- “For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” 1 John 2:16-17 KJV It’s what the Jesus, the apostles, and the early church taught. Praise God! Jesus predicted that false teachers, prophets, antichrists, doctrines of demons, and false gospels would fill the world before His coming! -Blessed are the rich in good deeds-

Another evidence why Paul is a false Apostle, Paul also condoned eating meat sacrificed to idols and commanded obeying sinful governments

@@bornstraight4068 this is a blatant lie. Paul preached the same gospel of Christ. He told Timothy, many would trust His words because they are hard to understand. Paul even realized that water baptism wasn’t necessary because it causes divisions. Jesus didn’t baptize either. Paul says he who does not work does not eat. Why? Because they lived communally, and there are some who became lazy that didn’t want to contribute to the rest. Jesus walked the same way with His disciples, they lived together 24/7. Paul says if anyone preaches another gospel, including himself, let he and anyone else be accursed. Did you know the gospels were written AFTER the letters? Why? Because Paul knew, some had crept in and began teachings doctrines of devils, he wanted to make sure that the GOSPEL OF CHRIST was recorded so that if anything is confusing from the letters, we always go back to the cornerstone. If something doesn’t add up, always chose what Jesus said over Paul. Jesus spoke many hard words that our flesh does not like to hear, especially these rich pastors who are building up huge temples just as the Pharisees loved their temple. We are meant to live in community, 24/7, with one another. This is how you can truly practice what Jesus taught. Shalom

I would add tho that there are riches that are blessed - except that they aren't material! :) And thanks God they aren't, for if they were, we'd be losing them quickly! So is it possible for us to have lots of money? Hm, yes, we have OT saints with those examples, but I don't think it's possible to live in luxury. if God were to bless me with the riches of Elon Musk and Bill Gates, what would I do? I'd give one half to those who need it (financially) and the other half would end up on a missionary.

While this is overalltrue, you have luxuries too. You have a PC. Do you really help the poor, my son? Or do you only sit in your basement complaining while playing your favorite video games? Not saying you were, I do not know you. But EVERYONE who has internet has luxury to some extent. Or where is the line then? Many OT saints were rich. Not all rich are the same.

Thanks for your comment. Yes, I do own things beyond basic necessity. I only slightly alluded to an idea in the video, but I believe that we can own tools which aid us in Jesus' mission or for personal business. Even down to the simplest of business of manual farming would require owning a hoe or shovel - tools that allow us to produce an income or perform a task at a faster rate. My life could be a lot simpler if I forsook all internet use and just tried to reach people in my local area. However, I have been compelled to keep using the internet because it seems to be producing fruit more than I could just do without it. If I was using a computer for something like video games, there is no justification for that. Jesus did not die on the cross for us to sit on a couch and play video games. But I respect your point, and I do not want to simply shrug it off. It is very easy to accumulate things with a justification at the time, and then before we know it, we are so distracted by these things that we are unfruitful to God.

@@SCHNEIDSz I would say video games per se are not wrong. We just must make sure on what we play. There is nothing wrong with playing Tetris on the go as long as it is in moderation. It certainly is better to be a Christian who enjoys some moderate pleasures (not luxury, but things like a motorcycle, bowling or walks on Yahweh's creation) and helps the poor as much as he can (not merely financially, but also spends time with them, which few of us do) than to be a Christian who goes the Scrooge McDuck style, as I have called it in the past, meaning, he spends money on nearly nothing, does not have many pleasures, but neither helps the poor in any way. That will be what matters (Matthew 25:31-46)

@@SCHNEIDSz Do you think Spurgeon was a true believer, brother? He had some horrible theology and smoked cigars, but also preached biblical nonresistance. I don't think he went to hell merely for a cigar. I would not dare to call pleasure itself the sin. Likewise, food is to be enjoyed, not just swallowed down. We however certainly have to redefine what fun is. Certainly there is nothing wrong with going on a walk or going camping with your family. What certainly is wrong is going to the stadiums with those big sport events

You have a KZbin channel, and make KZbin videos, which means that you have a device, and by what you said about what Paul talked about, which means that your device is unnecessary, but you didn't think of that, did you? If you really believed that, you would throw away your electronic devices, because most people probably don't have that in poor countries, or in Jesus' time! God forgive you for what seems to be your hypocrisy
@pleasehelpsomeonetoday92112 жыл бұрын
How are you typing this? Oh right, nevermind. If a man has reason to believe God has provided him a computer, who are you to chastise him for having it? Do you honestly think he has this for himself? For his good? Or do you think he has this for God. To proclaim the Kingdom of God. But You are against it, even if this computer has no benefit to him, but a tool to preach. When God gives, you may give back. If he gives, you may also use it to glorify his name. If he found a way to give this man a computer, he has every right to use it to make converts. Just as Paul may have used letters to make converts. And parchment paper was expensive back in those days, but Paul still had it and used it to preach. So before you start condemning people, check your own eye. Because "if you believed what Paul said, you would have thrown away your devices." Saying this on a device. And understand that no one is doing no wrong, but you, calling good evil.

@@joshkenedy8828 he talked about bowls, and how if are necessities overflow, into "nice things", we are to share it and never let that overflow into richness. @@joshkenedy8828 Can you show me where he said you can only have the very bare essentials and Absoulty nothing else? He said in 3:20 that it is fine if you have an extra bowl IF you share it and give some of it to the poor. This second part is just poor logic. Should I ripe out my sex organs because I CAN have immoral sex? No. Same with him.
