That last part where you were closing things up and asking if we think we got exaltation in the bag I can relate too. I at times wonder how many others atrophy in their progression because they feel they have done enough. Sure it's great they are doing what they have but we need to be careful not to become stagnant. To whom much is given much is required.

Parable of the Fig tree, here is my interpretation. The Fig is the House of Israel and or the Church, and the Priesthood and it bears no fruit because of unbelief. What is the fruit Christ was hoping to find? Miracles in the Church or Priesthood, and He cursed the fig and it died. Most everything Christ did was a parable or teaching a principle. He used miracles to teach because He could.

5:24 5/20. Could you please do a video on ‘Developing a close relationship with Jesus Christ’. Here is the issue; we are taught to pray to the Father. As I do so, I feel my relationship with the Father growing. So, how can one have a close relationship with someone who you never talk to. I guess sometimes I want to talk directly to the Savior.

At last. A commentary on the cursing of the fig tree, I've always wanted to understand what that miracle meant. Thank you so much :) The narrative also explains to me why the first figs in spring time on my fig trees always fall off. :)

Here is the correct & historical meaning of this event. There were 2 political parties, one was called the 'Figtree' & the other party was called the 'Vineyard'. The Figtree party wanted war with Rome, & the Vineyard party wanted peace. In addition to the missions of the Essenes & the ruling Herods, there was another mission in Rome. That was the one called the Figtree. From 4BC, the dispute about the Herodian succession that had been fought out in Rome between the brothers Archaelaus & Antipas had led to a splitting of Herodian loyalties. Antipas must have established a different house, & the mission rhat continued from his house continued to be hostile to the ruling Herods. This mission which looked to the Therapeuts of Egypt rather than to Palestinian Essenes for its ascetic discipline was called the 'Figtree' because Therapeuts did not drink wine & were skilled in the medical arts. The Figtree & the Vineyard were associated but had separate organizations. As a parable in Luke says, A Figtree was planted in a Vineyard'. Simon Magus was subsequent leader of the Zealot Figtree mission, closely associated with the tetrarch Antipas. On Monday, March 2d, 33AD, Jesus went to the temple treasury (in Qumran) at the time for money collection. No fulfillment has occurred for those expecting a Restoration at SD3969, (1st position, Samaritan 31st.) Jesus says it is because of the financial corruption & overturns the furniture for the banking system. The next day was March 3. When there was no fulfillment at the regular 31st, Jesus attacks the Herodian form of mission, including that of the tetrarch, the 'Figtree'. When he 'cursed the Figtree', he was condemning their financial exploitation, zealot ambitions & their methods which were compromising the mission, & he expelled them.

the meaning of this parable is that God can bless you in and out of season. the tree didn't want to bare fruit when Jesus wanted it to so he cursed it.

Everything God gives us we are stewards of because it all belongs 100% to Him. If you can pray for people, donate to ministries, give to poor people etc those are your “talents”. We can spread His kingdom on earth by being faithful stewards. We can get better at praying, serving and loving others.
