“Christ The Wonderful” | D. L. Moody Sermon | Isaiah 9:6 | Christmas, Birth Of Christ, Incarnation

“And his name shall be called Wonderful” (Isaiah 9:6). When I started recording this sermon, I didn’t realize it was basically a Christmas message! I believe this is the first sermon by D. L. Moody that I’ve ever read, but it will probably be the first of many. Moody has a plain style when compared to someone like Charles Spurgeon, but the truth he proclaims is still profound. I’m so grateful that Lord Jesus find me 5 yrs ago. I’m 51 now. He is our Blessed hope. I can’t do anything without my Lord. Jesus is the only way to heaven (John14:6). He is the mighty God (alpha n a mega) Praise be to God. Glory n honor is all his. The good news is that he loves us so much. We are loved by him. For non believers n Luke warm Christian please repent n get right with Lord Jesus. The time is getting close to the end. Look around all the signs are there. God bless n peace be with you. Malachi(3:6)

Wow...just wow. Those 2-year-old children were the first martyrs... Herod was the first to lift up his sword against Christ and did not live more than about 30 days after he did so... Amazing. I have never seen that until now.

Excellent sermon, but Joel, your enthusiasm is on the floor! This sermon deserves to be PREACHED, with enthusiasm, even with occasional spit escaping your lips! Thank you for posting this great sermon, but please do it over as if it were the most exciting best news you ever heard!!! Sound like a Pentecostal, not an Episcopalian (my apologies to Derek Prince and Peter Marshall.)
