I'm Brazilian and I've been in that region in 2012, it was devastating see all those houses cracked a part..but seeing this video give such a strong feeling about the Neo Zealand people, such a strong and real people there.

i live right on the red zone, the avon is at the end of my street. we get no help. a little more water than usual and you can’t get a car down the street. it’s horrible.

Give it to iwi, I’m sure they would do a better job with it then the council.
