I've had decent, well educated people tell me that I shouldn't dismiss offhand when someone says, "my truth..." That if I talk to them I might find what they mean is simply, "that's what it means to me," or "that's what I think it means." But I don't care as much about what someone thinks words mean as I do the words they use (and try to redefine). "My truth" is almost always an attempt to speak nonsense and demand no rebuttal. I won't play along.

It's maddening. The disturbing thing is, many of these people seem genuinely incapable of distinguishing between something subjective and something objective. It's like their brains cannot process it at all. It's unbearable talking to them. How can people function this way? Whatever you believe is true? Seriously? So if you believe you have a million dollars in your bank account, that's "true for you" and the teller should give it to you? (Do tellers even exist anymore? LOL.)

@@Yesica1993 No one believes that crap. Imagine that one of those "my truth" people works 40 hours, but his boss only pays him for 20 hours. He goes to complain to his boss, and his boss says "my truth is that you worked 20 hours". Would the "my truth" guy then say, "well, that's the boss's truth, so I guess I can't challenge him"? Of course not! Everyone believes in absolute objective truth when it comes to the things that really matters to them.

Oh, I know. That's why I can't stand when they pretend they do. Though, I think people mentally separate regular life things like work situations and bank accounts from what they'd consider more philosophical or religious things. I think that's how they (often unconsciously) mentally square it all. @@OscarSchneegans

Not really interested in saving the republic anymore. The republic was a privilege afforded to our ancestors by their station in history, we on the other hand stand at the cuffs of the wilderness, we are returning to nature. Our faith has been deconstructed, our politics, our history has been deconstructed, our clans, our nuclear families, our individuality, everything has been deconstructed in service of a corrupted vision of the Republic. I have no desire to save something that can only exist in the privileged position that our founders found themselves in. Rather, I wish to save those things that made it a privileged position. The Faith, my Patrimony, my family, clan, and people, etc.

I take a reverse Marxian view: If God's enemy is to the right of you, get to the right of him as quickly as you can find it, then after suitable time and prep, make your correction public. There should be nothing between you and God's perfect will. And what is it? Don't get fooled by the FR. I’m gonna push back a *little* on the first point and suggest that maybe we should at least consider and judge those wares to see if there’s something our predecessors or ourselves missed. Maybe we ought to peruse the Machiavelli stall and see if anything there is compatible with scripture and is perhaps more rational than other views of political epistemology. Maybe we should look around and see what’s being sold at the tactics counter of the Bolshevik Buffet (a bit of an oxymoron but at least it’s creative). We should not simply ride blindly off of “the founders got it 100% right” or anything close to that. And I think in God’s Providence what you will see is many of these things mixing up and a whole smoothie of philosophical concepts, epistemological systems, historical evidences and scriptural citations with the best and truest rising to the top. For now we will hammer it out in small discussions and by shouting it to the world on X. But I believe we WILL eventually start having conferences and town halls on this subject. Small ones granted, but even the Bolsheviks and Mensheviks started niche and small. That being said, all this by a biblical standard and we absolutely should police ourselves. Lenin was very fond of his “flexible tactics, implacable ideology”. When elections made sense the Bolsheviks engaged in it. When violence was a bad idea they reigned in their rowdy elements until a more opportune time. Etc etc. they were basically a marxist resistance with a Hegelian version of postmillenialism.

The majority now believe his grand deception; the godless rabble think they are the result of a random cosmic accident, and they have cast off all restraint. 20th, 21st century Sci-fi fantasy produced by NASA, (a money laundering apparatus for black ops) and a propaganda mill, played a big role in the scheme. NASA enthusiasts claiming to be Christian cannot take God's account of creation as it is written...they ignore the fact He says He hung the sun, moon and stars in the firmament on the fourth day, or they alagorize it away. Where did Jesus go when He ascended through the clouds? He went to heaven, which is above the circle of the earth. He will return in like manner, with all the heavenly host! Sent His Son to redeem any, all, everyone that will & CAN call upon Him/Jesus (Romans 10:11-13, Titus 2:11, Hebrews 2:9, 1 John 2:2)...or refuse Him (John 5:40 & Matthew 23:37). Preserved His word that tells you, you were born when & where you were born so you WOULD seek Him (Acts 17:26-31, John 12:21). But some would rather follow an egoic narcissist whom had his dissenters imprisoned & some put to death during his Monarchy in Geneva (John Calvin). Ok then, you have free will to follow that extra biblical theology that came along centuries after the Gospels & Epistles were penned.
