Bought my first rifle 5Five6 after being in the lookout for one, got a notification from my local FFL dealer that they received one of these. Bought it sight unseen since nothing was right now now here in california everything is out of stock. I think made a great choice. This rifle is very nice!!!

I own two Christensen Rifles. Both are BA Tactical's one is chambered in 6.5 Creed the other in 300 Win Mag. The Creed is lights out and has close to 4000 rnds through it and still is a half MOA rifle if I do my part. The barrel is soon in need of R&R because the lands are about gone but it keeps shooting good so no worries. The 300 on the other hand was a complete waste. Christensen does not change their carbon fiber structure to support the excess material being machined out due to the larger bore. This has resulted in way higher harmonic frequencies than my 6.5 thus after 3 rnds it heats up and opens group up from half MOA to over two MOA. This rifle will be getting a Poof Research barrel put on it because they do change their compounds and weave structure on higher caliber barrels. Now most will say, Christensen does not have a half MOA guarantee for either of those rifles. With factory ammo I am fine with that. But I can get an 800.00 Savage to shoot half MOA with handloads no problem and be more consistent. In all reality this is a company that focuses on light weight for hunting that now has marketed for LR or ELR, for the money there are better options in that game especially when it comes to Long Action large caliber rifles.
