I'd seriously consider this rifle if it had a metal barrel option. I have a 6.5cm MPR that starts to change POI pretty quickly after just a few rounds. Also I bought a Ranger .22 and had to send it back twice due to failure to eject, and then when it came back, it had feed problems. I think the rangers probs are due to the marrying of metals in the action, but what do I know. To their credit, they bought the rifle back, and also sent me a bunch of free stuff as a consolation (shirts, sweatshirt, hats stickers, lanyards etc). As a result of the POI shifts on the MPR, it has sat in the safe...I will rebarrel it soon (probably with a proof) as I do like the Chassis they made, with the awesome folding stock. Anyhow, that's one fellas experience.

I like the concept, but have questions. Why is the scope so high? Why a flat tigger for a pistol grip? Why a flash hider not a brake? It must kick like hell at 6lbs. I'll pass.

Think I'll stick to my 1955 BRNO model 21 20"barred in a 280 rem. Still hits dead on bulls eyes at 300yds. With Remington 165gr. at 2880fps. It is the perfect rifle. Although Noslers Partition 150gr, Hornadys 140 gmx and 140 gr.fusions have all worked on deer. Save the core- locks for Moose. I'd like to see an article on Shaw Rifles and barrels as my barrel is unbelievable. Any caliber you can think of as well.

Look at the Ruger Ranch Rifle in 300BLK. Same size rifle for about less than 600 and it holds 10 rounds
