Christensen Arms Traverse 6.5 PRC

I almost just bought this exact rifle a few weeks ago. Ended up going with a Christensen Modern Precision Rifle also in 6.5 PRC. Have the rifle, glass, rings, and some 147gr ELD-M waiting for me when I get back from this deployment, great video!

When I was looking, I was stuck between the Christiansen and the seekins havak ph2. Ended up going with the Havak in 300 prc, I can say I am extremely happy I did, but damn the Christensen look damn nice. If you are still looking into rifles try and get your hands on a seekins, I would be curious to see how they stack up against each other.

I have the Christensen ridgeline in 6.5 prc and the ph2 in 300 win mag. Both are very excellent rifles. I use each one for two different purposes, but i will say the PH2 I find to be a better overall rifle. I am blown away that the 300 has less recoil with a side ported brake then the 6.5 prc with the radial brake. I like the trigger a bit better in the PH2, but both rifles shoot sub MOA so you really are splitting hairs between the two.

Had 6.5prc since they came out it awsome..just no ammo took elk at 600 driped in its tracks

I own a few Christensen arms and Bergeras . One each in 6.5 prc and will be honest with you they both eat factory loaded 140 nosler accubond like candy. I purchased the same 140 accubond from copper creek and out of both rifles ragged hole groups

Ok, but you didn't do the same for the 6.8 not that there is allot of choice of ammo for 6.8.

@@gear101. yea, just saying that it might not be an apples to oranges comparison was all I was trying to say. Would make it sound more honest. I see there is supposed to be a lot of new ammo manufacturers that are going to come out with 6.8, but there isn't any yet. So I know you didn't have any options.

Get a few more rounds down the barrel before really looking hard at accuracy.

A lot of money for a walking stick if that was my gun it would go straight to the gunsmith I’ve got a lot of long range guns and have a lot less money then that gun I’ve got Remington 700 that would do that good with almost anything
