Alshon waited a long time to get to a finals match but unfortunately his game didn't show up. I'm an Alshon fan, feel bad for him. He will be there again but just have to be more prepared for it.

Alshon is a damn good player. But why Johns is able to basically dominate everyone he faces is he’s the player that’s been able to fuse his tennis athletic ability with ping pong shot selection, finesse, and patience…. Yeah, the dude has crazy skills, but he’s very calculated….

I was so looking forward to this one - too bad it was a bust. Ben played flawless, but I think if the final had been played on Thursday, Alshon would have done better. Can’t be easy waiting a couple of days to play one game while Ben was already “warm”, ready, and dailed in.

Poor Alshon got absolutely blasted off the court in this match but he earned that silver and this may motivate him to come back even better. Johns was no doubt out for revenge after their last match together and was just too good in this match. Looks like Alshon is working on a new backhand. He ran around it a lot. Maybe he should stick with the two hander.
