Can you make a video one day on learning how God speaks to you personally or how to discern His voice from all the others? Please and thank you!!

This comes from experience, it's hard to at first but when we pray and continue to read his word we will begin to understand how God thinks. We will then in turn be able to know his voice. It takes time.

@joseph20001177 жыл бұрын
Aaron Berta No, it is an abomination just like adultery, masturbation, and pornography and orgies. If you refute this with "it is old testament" then know Yahuah never changes, what he found nasty then he finds nasty now. Think of it this way. . .we are called to be imitators of Christ and to be Holy since He is Holy. I know it is hard but He sees and knows our struggle; let us then trust in His Son for He is sufficient. I'll tell you, I struggled with masturbation and pornography for 5 weeks and called upon His name to deliver me. I now only get the temptation in waves now. We are called to take up our cross. I hope I helped cuz sexual sin is so destructive and gratifying to the flesh. Prayer and fasting will help just as it has helped you. I been there and Christ continues to heal and deliver me. May you find and walk the way of the Father.

Love this! There is something beautiful about going to a Christian school and being surrounded by Christians, but there is also something beautiful about going to a secular college and forming deep, meaningful friendships with non-Christians!!

I debated about going to a Bible school versus a secular school for so long because I did not know where God wanted me. This fall is my first semester at this secular college and I have peace that God will use me here. This video was also very encouraging, thank you.

I attend a Christian College. I’m pursuing a degree in education. I’ve loved it and the students and professors have inspired me in my faith. In the beginning, I thought I would find a man, but it hasn’t happened yet. In the end, I will survive if I don’t find “Mr. Right” but my main goal is that degree! 👩🏽🎓

I agree completely. In my freshman year of high school I went to a Christian school that was kinda far because it was the closest one. It was not a good place for me I went from A's and B's to F's. Me and my parents decided that it would be best to put me in a different school, a public school. This for my church community is a major no no especially because I was the pastors daughter. The school did everything they could to try to keep me. All my F's magically changed to D's after my finals. They would keep me from chapel to lecture me about how I shouldn't go to a public high school. They blamed what was going on with me on my activeness in the church saying "when you go to high school you no longer have time for church" that's the moment when I know I had to go. I was not being spiritually fed there and now they wanted me to leave the place where I felt closest to God. I can't stand how sometimes my denomination puts to much pressure on parents to send there kids to a Christian school. Parents need to look at the situation and do what is best for your child. Where are they going to grow best. I went to a charter school the next year and those next three years where the best. I made so many new friends and learned about other beliefs. I got my grades back up to A's and B's. And my spiritual walk was able to keep going through personal studies and my work in the church.

I love lumerit! It's helped my boyfriend save some $$ and transition better to his desired school (Liberty University). I too attend Liberty and I could not be any more thankful for the growth and knowledge I've experience both in my intellectual self and spiritual walk with Christ. It's amazing and I praise God for Christian universities! I agree with you Jon, but since I get to experience the difference between a secular school and a Christian university my insight has skyrocketed (at least that's what it feels like). I'm going to be a little biased on my answer to attend a Christian university lol but that only if the person desires a more grounded knowledge in the faith and a stronger love for the things of God. Of course, like you mentioned, it is completely worthless without this mentality! Both secular school and Christian school take discipline and mental involvement in any course! Thanks for yet another great video, I appreciate it very much. Continue in the will of God brother, God bless you!

The secular university is the most strategic mission field currently around. Students from all over the nation (and world) come together in one location for a set amount of time where they're more open to new ideas and views of the world. Also, international students who come from closed countries to missionaries are on our college campuses. Many people from China, Japan, the Middle East etc have come to faith through different campus ministries and then they go back to their own countries as missionaries. It's a powerful place for the Kingdom of God.

@ImStayGold427 жыл бұрын
"Can a Christian attend a secular college?" Of course they can unless your "Christain" parents are so uptight that theyll disown you for learning facts about reality at school that contradict their religious beliefs. Ps, believing stuff on faith is dumb, when you have science to help analyze the reality around us.
